Micheal stared at Ahneeka as they were a few kilometers away from his house and wondered why he was even running with her in the first place.
She was his wife, and this was his home, he was Charles Wade. Why was he running away from her step sister whom he was supposed to reveal his true self to, in order to protect the image of the contract bride he had married.
He needed Ahneeka. Alot. It wasn't about her being his wife or partner or about him needing the warmth of a woman on his bed, he needed her because his status of being married was all he wanted to be able to take over the company.
And his union with the lady by his side has provided him with that security. Running away from whom he was with her because he didn't want her to know his true name? Because he wanted to gauge her and find out the sort of person she was? For what reasons? To fall in love?
