VROOOOM VROOM was the sound of engines of the race cars. Half of which was hand built from scraps and junks from Dablin, the planet's machine junkyard.
Each built to each drivers taste. Car colours and design potraying each drivers personality and ego.
I, on the other hand, has mine built like that of a classic earth's Ferrari. I've always being obsessed with earth sport races so i never miss any car themed sport or show at my aunt's.
My car was built from scratch by me. Designed small and portable for easy navigation. Reinforced with titanium for defense. My offense is made up of T-70 machine guns at the rear and front. Easy to dispers smoke bomb at the second exhaust and a soul shattering sonic grenade.
Sport races on Nexon are not just races, its a death race with no rules nor restrictions. Although due to the cases of deaths, each vehicles must have only two people in it. The driver and his assistant.
I revved my engine "That's its boy, your voice alone is enough to scare this pussies".
"Are u talking to me or the car?", Speetah asks
"Why would the voice of a pussy scare away another pussy? Of course I'm talking to the Zerrari"
"Dumbass, You do realize that dude in a Hell Raver close to to you has a flame thrower right?"
"Who doesn't"?
"Everyone here except for you."

"The way he's looking at you, i believe its the first thing he's going to switch on"
"That's why i built this bad boy for speed, after the gunshot, i shall turn on the nitro and u will turn on the smoke bomb"

A half naked lady human walks up to the track with a mega phone on one hand and a gun on the other hand. "PEOPLE OF NEXUS, ARE YOU ALL READYYYYYY".
The crowd on the sideline screamed and made all sorts of weird noise from the sidelines
The lady walked towards our cars to confirm the numbers of people in each car.
"Is that a dog in an helmet"? She burst into laughter.
"I'M A SPEETAH, I'LL RIP OFF THOSE TINY PANTIES OF YOURS WITH MY TEETH WHEN I'M DONE"
Bolt clenched his teeth. Although the lady doesn't speak speetah's, yet she perceived this dog like creature to be angry.
"No ma'am, its a speetah not a dog" (A Speetah is an earth equivalent of a Cheetah, its the fastest animal on planet nexon and it was what i chose during the guardian initiation. Why? Little Bolt kept trying to break free from the hands of the guardian keeper who held on to it and when it finally did, it made a clown out of the the keeper who was trying to catch it back. The whole scene was so funny, i must have been attracted to the humour aura.
"Oh, i see, but ..why this? Don't u have friends", the lady asked.
"I do, They are not just as smart"
"No he doesn't", Bolt replied cynically cracking a smile
"Is it laughing"? The lady looked puzzled at the speetah
"Look ma'am, i just wanna race. Lets get this shit started"
"Thats the spirit". The lady walked back behind the tracks and shouted at the top of her voice
"AREEEE YOUUU READYYYYYYYY"!
Engine revves. Teeth clenches. Wrist wrapped tightly around the steering. Speetah roars
GBOA!!! Gunshots fired!
Tires screeches. The race was on.
As predicted, the hell raver close to Jonn turned on his flame thrower even before taking an inch.
The intense heat didnt burn Jonn because of the titanium but oh boy did he feel the heat. The fire also blinded the entire left part of Jonn's car.
"Fvck"!! Now i cant see shit on my left". Jonn hit the Nitro button and bolt turned on the smoke bomb. Now they were ahead of the other drivers and blinded them all too.
There was an explosion behind them.
"Wow, two of those idiots just rammed into each other" Speetah burst into laughter. "This is too easy, 2 down 2 to go"
"Dont jinx it dumbass. That hell raver scares the shit out of me. How do we beat something we can't get close to or see from my end?" I asked.
"You still woried about hell raver? All this bull dozer gotta do is spew hot lava on us and we are toast" Bolt replied.
..and suddenly it struck me. I looked at Bolt and cracked a devilish smile.
"This is not a great time for sandwhich"
"Got a better idea".
"You know we are faster than this dumbasses, right"?
"Whats the fun in that, turn on the smoke bomb?"
Speetah hit the SB button. Dark thick smoke got released from the exhaust creating a dark mist and blinding anyone who comes along.
I hit the brakes to let the two racers catch up.
Within seconds, they were all out of the thick smoke. Now our Zerarri was between Hell Raver and Bulldozer.
My heart was racing so fast. I've done so many stupid things in race battles but these appears to be the craziest. When i started racing, all i do is turn on my nitro and try to win the race as fast as possible to minimize casualties but ever since we started getting paid more, even more than the race price for finishing off our opponent, I started investing more in the battles than in speed.
I have acquired a lot of units from crazy finishes and fatalities but today seem to be the end.
I was so scared and from the frozen look on Speetah face, he was too. I couldn't see hell raver on my left but Speetah could see the crazy grin on Bulldozers.
I anticipated Bulldozer was going to swerve left and ram us into hell raver but no he didn't. A noozle came out of the side of his car ready to spew his hot lava. I looked left, altho my left window was burnt yet i could feel Hell Raver.
I held my breath and time slowed down. Creating a time vortex between me and speetah.
"You dishonourable bastard. Didnt we agree no powers". Speetah asked with glowing eyes
"Just this last time"
I felt the heat once again from the left of the car. "Hell Raver has turned on the flame thrower"
"Looks like Bulldozer is about to spew hot lava"
"I'll turn on the nitro, you'll turn on the smoke bomb"
Time went back to normal. Bull dozer and Hell Raver were confused as to how the Ferrari between them disappeared and how there was another thick fog at the front of them but it was too late to reverse the 3 seconds ago action. Hell Raver's flames was right into Bulll dozers lava kegs.
"Fvck". Both drivers said simultaneously.
KABOOM!!
"WE WON!" Jonn shouted excitedly at the finish line.
"Wait do u hear that?"
"HELL YEAH, THAT'S WHAT VICTORY SOUNDS LIKE BITCH"
"No, no, listen". Bolt eyes widened and his ears were straightened up. "She's awake"
"Who's awake"?
Suddenly, the ground started shaking tremendously.
"A Nexquaqe"? I blurted out nervously, "A quake caused by our little explosion"?
At this moment, Speetah's eyes widened, and glowed green, the hairs on his ear
straightened so hard, he started vibrating like he was phasing in and out of existence. This only happens when he
senses danger
"What did you hear?"
Speetah : "THE...WITCH...AWAKENS!!!"
