Chapter 93 - Chapter 93: Rest

As we reached the Lookout, a tranquil silence stretched out over the vast, open space.

The air was cool and calm—a stark contrast to the chaos and destruction that lingered in my mind. But despite the peace here, my thoughts were sharp and uneasy.

Goku broke the silence, his voice thoughtful yet firm. "Kairos, maybe we should use the Dragon Balls, revive everyone who got hurt in the fight?"

I shook my head slowly, feeling the weight of uncertainty pressing on me. "Not yet," I replied. "We don't know for sure if Cell is really dead ."

My mind drifted back to the battle just before Vegeta's explosion. Cell had held Vegeta and Trunks as hostages, his face full of twisted satisfaction. And in that moment, when he'd dared us to act, I had used my Divine Ability to read his combat power. The number still made my stomach twist.

[Combat Power—

Semi-Perfect Cell: 40 Billion]

Seeing that, I had known in an instant—Cell was beyond the plot I had known . My own strength, even with the power of Super Saiyan, would need to explode to the next level, Super Saiyan 2, if I had any hope of taking him down.

Now, with Trunks absorbed, if Cell survived…his power could be unleashed even further.

With a deep breath, I looked at Goku, my tone serious. "We need more time to prepare. If Cell's alive, he'll be even stronger than before. You and I, both of us might not be enough." I paused. "Goku, you should take time to train. If Cell returns and I can't stop him, then it'll be up to you."

Goku's eyes lit with understanding. "The Hyperbolic Time Chamber?"

"Yes," I nodded. "In there, a year's training passes in just a day. We can't afford to waste any time."

He agreed without hesitation and turned to Piccolo. "Can I take Gohan with me?"

Piccolo's eyes softened, and he gave a solemn nod. "Gohan's ready for this. He has potential he's yet to realize—he needs this training, Goku."

Without wasting a moment, Goku flew off to bring Gohan to the Lookout, returning with his son in tow. Gohan's face was a mix of determination and awe, but there was no doubt—he was ready to face the intensity of the training ahead.

Under Mr. Popo's guidance, they made their way to the chamber door, each of them with a resolve that was palpable.

I watched as the heavy doors closed behind them, sealing them in an isolated world of pure intensity.

My fists clenched slightly as I thought about the training ahead of them, the pressure they'd face. They'd emerge stronger—strong enough to meet Cell if it came to that.

---

As night turned to dawn, I stood at the edge of the Lookout, keeping my eyes trained on the distant ruin of the city. It was silent, not a trace of movement, yet I couldn't shake the feeling of dread lurking there. I watched for hours, my focus unwavering, as the first light of morning began to spill over the horizon.

Finally, I turned to Piccolo. "I'll head home for now. Keep watch here and let me know if anything changes."

He nodded, his expression as hard as mine. "I'll alert you the moment anything happens."

With a final glance over the horizon, I placed my fingers between my brows and teleported.

---

I reappeared in my dark room, a familiar stillness greeting me. The tension of the night clung to my mind, and I could feel the exhaustion pulling at me, but for a moment, the comfort of home softened the edge of my worries.

I let out a sigh, crossing the room and collapsing onto the bed. The mattress gave under my weight, cool and welcoming, and I let myself sink into the embrace of rest.

Sleep claimed me quickly, my mind drifting. But just as I felt myself falling into the deep calm of slumber, a sudden noise shattered the peace. My door opened, and a rush of morning light poured into the room as the curtains were drawn back.

I flinched, groaning, as the sunlight hit my face like a hammer, dragging me out of the comfort I'd fought for. Squinting against the brightness, I forced my eyes open and saw Julia standing there, a faint smile on her face.

"Julia…" I mumbled, voice thick with fatigue. "Please…close the curtains."

Her eyes twinkled with amusement, but there was a note of worry there too. "Where were you all night?" she asked softly. "Did you even sleep?"

I managed a faint nod. "Had to…deal with Cell. Piccolo contacted me…it was urgent."

She nodded, understanding flooding her expression. "Get some rest," she whispered, pulling the curtains closed again, blanketing the room in soothing darkness.

"Thanks, later I will reward you " I murmured, feeling the tension finally start to ebb.

Hearing my words she started blushing with a mosquito voice 'Shameless', saying this she left then room .

As she left, I heard her voice outside the door, gently telling everyone to let me sleep undisturbed.

With a heavy exhale, I sank back into the pillow, my mind slipping once more toward the edge of sleep. And this time, the quiet surrounded me like a protective barrier, guarding me against the storm that lay ahead.
