As Kairos materialized into the room, all eyes turned to him. "Kairos!" Goku greeted cheerfully, flashing him his trademark smile. "Glad you came."
"Good to see you, Uncle ," Trunks added with a nod, his face more serious but still welcoming.
Kairos smiled back warmly, but inside, he knew exactly for what they have gathered here. Cell… The bio-android had already made his move, but Kairos chose to keep that information to himself for now. He would let things unfold naturally. He didn't want to alter the course of the events too much, knowing full well how crucial certain battles and awakenings were for Gohan's and others' growth.
"So, what are you guys talking about?" Kairos asked, trying to blend into the discussion naturally.
"Well…" Krillin began, rubbing the back of his head, "we're still trying to figure out about the egg , what could have come out of it - Dr. Brief told that from the egg he found trace of a creature ."
"That's right," Goku chimed in, his face more serious now. "Something's out there, probably another android - We need to find out what it is before it's too late."
Before the conversation could continue, a loud report suddenly erupted from the television. Everyone turned to see the screen, where a news anchor was speaking urgently, his face pale with fear.
"We're coming to you live from Ginger Town," the reporter's voice trembled. "A massive number of people have disappeared in this area… We don't know how or why, but the only thing left of them are their clothes, as if their bodies simply vanished."
The camera cut to a shot of the town, eerily quiet and littered with abandoned clothing. The scene was horrifying, and the Z Fighters felt an immediate chill run down their spines.
"This is bad…" Tien Shinhan muttered, eyes narrowed.
Suddenly, the camera shifted again, now focusing on a grotesque, green-skinned creature lurking in the shadows of a nearby building. It moved with an unsettling grace, its tail twitching as it approached a terrified civilian. Without hesitation, the creature stabbed its tail into the person's body, absorbing them in a matter of seconds. The reporter's voice became shrill with panic as he and the camera crew watched helplessly.
"Oh my god! What is that thing?! It's—it's killing them all!" the reporter screamed as the creature absorbed another person in full view of the camera, leaving only their clothes behind.
The group stared at the TV in horror. Gohan's hands clenched into fists as he watched, his heart pounding. "What is that thing?" he asked, his voice shaking.
Kairos remained silent, his face unreadable, though inside, he knew exactly what they were seeing.
Master Roshi stroked his beard thoughtfully. "So, this thing is killing and absorbing people… gaining their power somehow."
Goku stood up, his expression grim. "Whatever it is, we need to stop it, now."
Kairos remained quiet, watching as the others processed the situation. He knew Cell's strength would grow rapidly.
