Three years had passed, and the day to face the androids had finally come. Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo were flying through the sky, heading toward their fateful encounter.
"So… what do you think? How ready are we to take those androids down?" Piccolo asked, his gaze sharp as ever.
"My chest hurts..." Goku muttered quietly, more to himself.
"Huh?" Piccolo glanced at him.
Realizing his mistake, Goku quickly changed the subject. "Uh... probably 7 or 8 out of 10. Besides, we've got Kairos with us, so we should be able to handle them."
Gohan looked ahead and spotted Krillin flying toward them. They all converged and continued their journey together until they reached a small island that housed a large city.
"Holy crap! This city is huge!" Krillin exclaimed in surprise.
"But the island is so tiny," Gohan noted, puzzled. "What do the people do here?"
Krillin explained nonchalantly, "Most of the people here are… you know, prostitutes. It's legal."
"Oh..." "Ohh…" "Ohhh…"
Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo responded, each showing varying degrees of surprise.
Landing on a nearby rocky outcrop, they spotted Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and a strikingly mature Bulma, dressed elegantly and holding a baby in her arms. Krillin, in shock, quickly processed what was happening.
Yamcha, clearly annoyed, looked at them. "Yeah, and you won't believe who the father is."
It didn't take long for Goku, Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin to guess the answer. "Vegeta," they all said in unison, which only deepened Yamcha's frustration as he walked off with a sigh.
"Where is Vegeta anyway?" Piccolo asked, curious about the absent Saiyan prince.
Bulma shrugged. "No idea. He left early this morning, typical."
Krillin, ever the bold one, grinned and blurted out, "Well, on the plus side, your boobs look amazing!"
"I—! You…!" Bulma's face turned red with both anger and embarrassment, but she quickly calmed down, deciding to take it as a backhanded compliment.
Moments later, Yajirobe arrived in a small airship, singing his own tune: "Car loves… food yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah…"
He tossed a bag of Senzu beans to Goku. "Here, take 'em! That's all I'm good for," Yajirobe grumbled before flying off.
As the group tried to sense the androids' presence, they realized something unsettling — there was no energy to track. Before they could delve deeper into the mystery, a sudden explosion rocked the edge of the city.
Everyone's attention snapped to the source of the blast.
"Looks like the androids have made their move," Goku said, his expression turning serious.
Without wasting a second, he handed the Senzu beans to Bulma for safekeeping, and the group flew toward the chaos, bracing themselves for the fight of their lives.
They started searching for the android but they couldn't find but Yamcha heard the scream echo through the city streets, and without hesitation, he dashed towards the source of the sound. His heart raced as he navigated the narrow alleys, and finally, he came upon the sight that sent a chill down his spine: two figures hovered menacingly in the sky. One was an elderly man with cybernetic enhancements—Dr. Gero, now a robot. The other was a pale, childlike figure with an eerie, mechanical aura—Android 19.
The two androids turned their attention to Yamcha, and Dr. Gero ordered 19th Android to scan - his robotic eyes scanned Yamcha.
Android 19 voice broke the tense silence, "89% similarity to Goku," he muttered. Without warning, they both teleported near Yamcha, and before he could react, Dr. Gero grabbed his mouth, lifting him off the ground effortlessly. Android 19 hovered beside them, watching coldly.
Dr. Gero raised his other hand, aiming to punch through Yamcha's chest and end his life in a single blow. Just as the fatal punch was about to land, a powerful force stopped it mid-air.
Kairos materialized between them, effortlessly blocking Dr. Gero's strike with a calm but fierce expression. His sudden appearance was nothing short of miraculous, and the shock registered on the androids' faces.
Dr. Gero immediately recognized Kairos and stepped back, his robotic eyes narrowing. He knew who he was dealing with. Kairos's reputation as the strongest warrior on Earth had spread even into Dr. Gero's cold, calculated mind.
"Kairos…" Dr. Gero muttered, assessing the situation.
Yamcha, still trembling and barely conscious from the near-death experience, felt the overwhelming relief of being saved just in time.
As Goku stood on top of the round building, contemplating the androids, he thought to himself, "I mean, really... Androids are just humans with wires instead of veins and oil instead of blood. Can they really be powerful?" His casual attitude lingered until suddenly, he sensed the unmistakable ki of Kairos. Goku, along with Krillin and Tien Shinhan, immediately took off toward the source.
