"Good morning Ash, you should've woke me up when you got up. I could've helped make this morning more romantic."
With the tone he was speaking in it almost sounded like he was hinting at something else not related to breakfast...
I turned around and looked at him. "What do you mean by that?" Liam shifted his weight to one foot and crossed his arms. "Think about it, you know what I mean." Suddenly it felt like the pieces assembled themselves in my head, I felt my face slowly heat up a little bit. "Oh, so you do know what I mean." Liam said with his hands on the counter on either side of me casing me in. "You're gonna need to slow your roll a little bit there buddy, good things come to those who wait."
I went back to working on breakfast and he just kind of backed up a bit, I could tell he was still looking at me even with my back turned. "Need help with anything?" He asked as I turned on the stove with the skillet over it ready with the butter melting. "You could get some plates and get out the silverware." Liam went and did that pretty quickly, he didn't seem disappointed at all from what was said earlier. I continued on to frying pancakes and luckily I woke up early today, I gobbled down my pancakes and hurried to finish getting ready before rushing out the door. I needed to get to collage on time so no time to waste.
I got into collage on time and rushed to get to my class room before sitting down and looking around the room, I saw some familiar faces like Noah and Max. I looked down at my desk and then forward but I was hoping I wouldn't be spotted, why am I friends with them if I don't ever wanna hang out or talk you might ask? Well they aren't really my cup of tea and I'm too scared to just not be friends with them, Luckily the class started soon so I was able to avoid any issues with the gang.
After classes when I was out for lunch break I just sat down on one of the bench's and started drawing instead since I was bored and wasn't hungry, and just my luck Noah was walking down the hall with Max and Noah was walking backwards and didn't see me and then he ended up tripping over the bench and crashing straight into me knocking my pencil and sketchbook out of my hand and knocking me over as well. I retaliated quickly and shoved Noah off of me.
I pushed him a little too hard and he ended up shoved to the floor. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to shove you that hard!" Noah regained himself and stood up. "Yeah, sorry for falling into you..." Noah didn't seem like his usual self right now but I didn't really wanna question it too much but my curiosity got the better of me. "Is everything alright?" Noah looked at me and his expression melted, he looked at my hand and saw the wedding ring and then he inhaled like he was gonna start rapping.
"You never hang out with us anymore, you avoid us and never speak to us even on the phone or texting! And you got married yesterday so I'm guessing that I wont even see you much anymore and on top of all that you don't even live in the dorms anymore so we wont hardly see each other around anymore you completely abandoned me and the rest of the boys!"
It felt like he had just unleashed all of his hidden emotions he had been holding in for a long time. "I didn't wanna hang out because of that night when I saw all of you guys smoking, it scared me away okay? I didn't mean to be rude but I just can't handle it when people smoke but also I was struggling a lot with mental health issues and I still am, so I was focusing on myself a lot then. Its nothing personal! I swear."
Noah sighed. "Alright, fair enough I guess, how about we never smoke around you again? Does that help? And maybe we could all go out for lunch today?" I didn't really feel like going out with them but I figured why not ya know? And this will help my apology and reasons seem more sincere. "Yeah sure, lets go then" I said as I got my stuff up off the floor and put it back into my backpack, I threw my backpack over my shoulder and we headed out.
I was so tired right now as usual and I never knew why, the place that Noah wanted to go to was close by so we all walked. When we got in we were told to sit anywhere we'd like so we did and we all sat for a minute before the waiter came out to give the menu's and ask what we wanted to drink, I had asked for a water but then I looked up and saw the waiter. BLAKE?! AGAIN? I KNEW IT HE IS STALKING ME, WHAT THE FU-
After Blake left with the order for the drinks my emotions calmed down and so did my thoughts, I tired to carry on normal conversation and look at my menu but my hands were shaky. I couldn't figure out any logical reason for Blake stalking me, I didn't have anything to give him or any reason for him to follow me around.
I shoved the thoughts out of my mind as Blake came back with the drinks and we ordered our food, we all talked for a good bit but after that but then the food came out and we all went silent and ate.
Before we left I went to go use the bathroom and on the way I saw Blake looking at me which caught my attention in a instance, I turned towards him. "We need to talk." Blake sighed. "I'm not stalking you, I just have to move a lot for my job okay?" He was clearly lying through his teeth right now but I didn't really know how to press for answers, I decided to let it go and hurry along to the bathroom.
After that me, Noah, Max and Matthew all headed back to the collage for our last classes of the day.
When the classes had ended I was so ready to hurry up and get back home to Liam but in order to keep relationships good with my friends at the collage I decided to stick around a little longer to talk to everyone, I was even able to talk to Lizzy a good bit too. "Thanks for inviting me to that wedding it was amazing and so was the food." Lizzy said half joking around. "Yeah, sure was."
At this point Lizzy just got added into the group expanding it one more person, after sticking around for awhile I chose to go home at last. Liam was already home since I saw his car when I pulled into the driveway, I got out of my car and walked up to the front door to unlock it. When I walked in I didn't see anyone at first so I walked around the house to find Liam, I ended up finding him in the office room of the house.
When I walked in Liam looked up at me. "How was school?" He asked as he looked back down to type something in. "It was good, how was work?" Liam sighed and looked back up at me. "It was good but things are starting to get difficult with the company and the spy work, I might need to quit my spy job. But it will probably be better for us in the long run since if we're gonna have a family it'd be safer without the extra baggage of the other job, I wont quit right away but I am planning on quitting sometime in the future."
It wasn't exactly like all this stuff came out of the blue but I still wasn't expecting him to wanna quit this soon. "Yeah, I completely understand that and it makes total sense." Liam nodded and soon after that I left to go do my homework for collage, it was almost dinner time when I finished so I scrambled to get into the kitchen and make something but when I got in the kitchen Liam was already in there cooking something.
"I was gonna make dinner you know." I said as I walked into the kitchen and the smell of taco's filled my nose. "Yeah well you were taking to long to come in here and make it so I took the liberty, wanna get out the dishes and silverware while I finish up?" Liam said as he stirred the meat around in the skillet. "Yeah sure." I said as I went to go and get the plates out, soon after we were eating and then we finished. I went into the kitchen and washed up all the dishes and put them away then Liam suggested that we watch a movie or something so we could spend some time together.
So we sat down on the couch and pulled up a movie to watch, the movie was actually quite interesting. But in the middle of the movie I felt Liam place his hand on my thigh which immediately made me feel the way he must have to put his hand there, I looked over at him and he just kind of smirked but after that smirk it was like both of us knew what to do.
That night was the first night either of us had done it, but with the love we shared for each other it felt like a walk in the park. The next day was the weekend which was good since I was feeling sore in every area the next morning, I could barely even get myself out of bed which led to having a lazy day most of today. I couldn't really walk too well so I just decided to stay sitting down for most of the day, I did a lot of random drawings and ate all my meals at the correct times. I talked to Liam a bit too and ended up falling asleep after lunch but today was overall a pretty good weekend and even though I got really sore and everything ached I'm still so glad I did what I did with Liam last night.
But when I woke up from my nap I finally got firm footing so then I went into the kitchen to see if dinner was out yet but instead I just saw Liam sitting at the counter on his phone, he looked up at me when we heard me walk over. "Hey Ash! Sleep well?" He asked looking at me with his perfect smile like usual. "Yeah I slept pretty well, did you need help making dinner?"
Liam shifted his gaze to outside the window. "Wanna do takeout tonight?" He asked fixing his gaze back on me. "Yeah sure, I can place the order. Where from?" I sat down at the table as we discussed dinner, we ended up getting Chinese takeout which was absolutely fabulous. Me and Liam talked a bit more over dinner about work and collage.
Liam's been looking so tired lately, its like he hasn't been sleeping or something. Which was starting to make me worry about him, that's why I decided to make him some chamomile tea to help him sleep better. I was really starting to worry about him but I had to keep my cool about it since I didn't want him to catch on, Liam drank the tea a bit before we decided to head to bed. That night he snuggled up against me like usual and fell asleep faster then he normally did.
I was also very tired for some reason and I ended up going to sleep soon after him...
