Chapter 2 - Ｍｉｓｓｉｏｎ Ｔｗｏ

I arrived at work and put on the coffee shop apron, I turned towards Sally and she mouthed the words 'behind you'. As I turned around I said Liam Standing at the counter, I was totally into him right now. I walked up to the counter put my hand down and leaned on my arm. "What can I get for you today?" I said smiling as I stared deep into Liam's eyes.

Liam smirking back replied. "Same as yesterday." I was surprised he was sharing my energy right now. "I'll get it for you in just a minute." I said as I turned to go make the coffee, I heard his footsteps go to the pickup counter and then I heard Sally walking over to me. "What was that about? Are you two flirting with each other now? I need the deetssss." I looked over at Sally "Its not like thaaaaaat." I replied as I took Liam's order to the pickup counter.

"Here ya go, your total is 5 even" I said as I put the coffee on the table and he handed me the money, I went and put it in the cash register. When I looked up Liam was half way out the door before I could think I ran up to him. "Wait!" Liam turned around and faced me. "What is it?" He asked as I gathered myself up, I pulled out my phone and passed it to him. "Can I get your number?" Liam smiled and typed his number in for me. "Here, don't use it unless its important." Liam said as I muttered. "Thank you." Under my breath, I was practically screaming on the inside. THIS IS PERFECT! I walked back over to behind the counter, I must have been blushing because Sally noticed.

"No way you asked for his number! You're so brave, I could literally never." Sally said as she worked on a costumers order. "You just need confidence that's all." Sally sighed at my words. "As if." She said carrying the order she was working on to the pickup counter.

After a few hours it was almost my lunch break, just a minute before it started someone walked through the door. I was hoping it'd be a fast order so I could go on break, but to my surprise it was Liam! He was hotter then ever, he was wearing a blue button down shirt and jeans. His hair was slightly messy, his dark brown hair had me captivated until he spoke. "Wanna go to lunch together?" My jaw literally DROPPED, did he actually wanted to go to lunch with me?! "Yes, of course might be good for our jobs." I replied and Liam took my hand and led me outside. "I know the perfect place for lunch." Liam said leading me down the road, I loved holding his hand it gave me comfort.

We walked into a small diner, the scent of burgers frying filling my nose. We were told to sit anywhere, we sat down at a booth and started looking at the menus. Liam didn't look at his to long until he was ready to order, although I had never been here before so I just kept looking at the menu. "If you don't know what to get just get what I'm getting, its a guarantee like. You'd love it." Liam said noticing my confusion with the menu, I looked up from my menu at him. "I might just do that then." I said closing my menu and putting it to the side.

Soon the waitress walked up and took our orders, he ordered a cubed Rubin sandwich. Which I had never had before, I took a bite of it and to my surprise it was actually pretty good. "Its good right?" Liam asked looking at me across the table. "Mhm!" I replied since I had a mouth full at the moment, Liam smiled and continued eating. His smile had me feeling butterflies, so cute! 

After I ate I paid for my food and went on my way back to work, when I got back into work Sally had a smug expression on her face. "Look at you going on a date with Mr. Handsome." Sally said as I walked in. "It wasn't a date!" I retorted. "Yeah, right." Sally said as she handed me my apron and we got back to work.

That night I got a call from my real boss at my real job, he told me to come into the office again. When I showed up Liam was there too, we were paired up again. The job was to go into a super elegant banquet, dance and get the master of the party to scout us for his dancing competition. Simple right? Although it wasn't exactly my cup of tea, I'm a assassin not a spy. Although Liam was a spy but still helped me with my mission, I could've taken everyone out on my own none the less.

Our boss gave me a pretty dress, with mesh sleeves, it was a pretty green color too. It was silky all the way down, it almost touched the ground but thanks to my heels it didn't. As we arrived at the banquet I heard the classical music flood into my ears, it sounded so graceful and elegant. Liam took me hand and led me up to the dance floor. "You know how to dance right?" Liam asked leaning over to me a bit as we walked. "Of course I do." I said as we got to the perfect spot on the dance floor, he took my hand and we waltzed.

But everything about this was absolutely romantic! The way he moved was so attractive, seamlessly gliding on the dance floor. Every move perfectly coordinated, swoosh, swoosh my dress went on swaying with every move. If only Sally saw me now!

"I've noticed that you two have chemistry, simply remarkable." Said the master of the banquet and the studio, was that some sort of test thing? "Now then, are you two a couple?" He asked and before I could even open my mouth Liam replied. "Yes we are." The master of this place smiled. "Prove it then, kiss." EHHHHHHHHHH?! KISS!? Are you serious right now? I have to kiss L-Liam....

Liam looked over at me and then back at the owner of this place. "No problem sir." With those words Liam turned towards me and pulled me in for a kiss, I didn't think he'd actually kiss me but he did. The second he pulled away I could tell my face must have been flushed, Liam smirked at me, why that little- 

The owner seemed pleased though. "I see you are a real couple, now then my name is Christopher I own this studio. And I would like to take you two in as dancers, the chemistry and grace you both have on the dance floor is perfection. Don't worry though this is only a one night dance competition, the best waltzing couple wins a trophy and 1,000 dollars. Although I must inform you that the competition doesn't start till tomorrow night at 7:00 pm, will you two be able to show up?" As Christopher finished talking and and Liam almost talked in unison. "Yes, we'll be there." Christopher seemed glad and we went back into the banquet.

After the night had ended Liam offered to walk me home, I knew I'd be fine on my own but I still accepted the offer. When we turned the block to my home I decided that I didn't want to risk the chance that Liam saw the inside of my apartment. It wasn't exactly the cleanest or nicest. "My place is just around the corner, I can walk from here." I said trying to get out of the awkward place I was in. "Ok, I'll be going home then. Text me tomorrow when you're ready to leave for the competition, I'll come pick you up." Liam replied as we came to a stop from walking. "Ok, I will. Good night." I said and Liam said it back and I finished walking to my house, it was almost like we were a couple!

I found a really nice ball-ish dress that I didn't even know I had, it was blue and silky, very long down to my heels. I got dressed quickly and fixed my hair up, I sent Liam a text to let him know I was ready. I had sent him my address earlier today, I stood by the road for some time. When I checked the time it was currently 6:00 pm, luckily where we were going was only 30 minutes away but still. Hurry up, hurry up, hurry up, I thought to myself as I kept checking my phone. The time was only 6:10 pm but I needed him here quick!

Soon a black car rolled up, the window rolled down. "Hop in." I heard a voice call as the window went down more I saw it was Liam, I walked around and got in on the passengers side. Liam drove off the second the door shut, I wanted to know what took so long so I was going to ask Liam. "What took you so long?" I asked as Liam drove his eyes glued to the road. "I had a side mission to complete first, I actually ended up getting stabbed but I'm ok now." As Liam finished talking my jaw literally dropped. "YOU WHAT?! Are you ok?" I asked as Liam kept driving carefully. "Yes I'm fine, and everything is bandaged up. No need to worry." Liam replied. "Ok but you-" Liam cut me off. "I said I was fine, lets just win this thing." Liam obviously didn't want to talk about it so I let it go. "Yeah, lets."

When we showed up there was about 15 minutes to get inside and get ready for it before it started, Liam held my hand on the way in. Perfect couple stuff but it totally made my heart flutter, once we got in yet again the sound of classical music flooded into my ears. I hated it but I had to bare with it yet again, soon everyone gathered into the middle of the dance floor in the main room. Swaying back and forth everyone danced, my dress swaying and Liam's dance moves flowing.

Soon enough round one was over, and Christopher the owner started talking. "In first place we have the carters!" Must be a married couple or something, I thought to myself as he continued. "In second place we have... Liam and Ashley!" YES, that's us! We didn't enter our last names but we're in on second! "Third place is tammy and tom. All three couples please move into the studio, its time for round two!"

After the speech was over the three couples including me and Liam went into the studio, the studio was dimly lit today. Only candles lit the room, everyone gathered into the middle of the studio but the music wasn't starting. Nothing was signaling the start of the dance yet, after quite the delay the music started and everyone danced. 

The perfection of the moves everyone had was amazing. "Hey, if we win.... I'll give you a kiss. So try your hardest, for me kay?" Liam whispered to me as the dancing commenced, my body practically learned how to dance better instantly. Swaying back and forth and soon the music ended. "May I get everyone's attention for a second. The winner of tonight is...." I held my breath, I needed to win for more then one reason right now. "Liam and Ashley! Come up here and get your reward!" My heart literally leaped out of my chest at that, me and Liam walked up to Christopher and he handed us the trophy and the money.

After we left the building I put the trophy and money in Liam's car, but before I could get in myself Liam pulled me aside. "I made a promise and I intend to keep it." With that Liam pinned me to the side of his car and kissed me, it was the best kiss I ever had in my life. Granted I only had two kisses in my life both from Liam, but this one was somehow better. When Liam pulled back the way he looked at me totally threw me through a loop, it was so attractive but it was almost like he was asking for something. He collapsed onto me, I grabbed onto him and shook him a bit. He didn't even budge, I opened the passenger side of his car and put him in it. I grabbed the car keys from his pocket, I got in on the passengers side and started up the car.

I didn't know where he lived so I took him to my place, I lugged him into the living room and put him on the couch. I grabbed a blanket and put it on him, while I was waiting for him to wake up I decided to change and take a shower.
