The girl opened her eyes and instead of seeing the white ceiling of a hospital which she would have preferred than waking up, she saw a white canopy with lace patterns adorning the edges. She would have preferred her cold and hard bed to the soft mattress she was lying down on soft silk caressing her brown skin felt disgusting.

Her body felt weak, she felt lightheaded even drowning in it. Some unknown people noticed the awakening of the girl and walked towards the bed. Kirstin could only glance at the strangers, noticing their strange attire, wearing a uniform of a plain white dress an apron tied around the waist, and a white cap on their heads.
"Welcome back your grace"
The four maids said in a union in an almost robotic fashion. Each one of them spread around the room, two went to the bathroom maybe to prepare a bath, and the others were preparing clothes and makeup.
It's overwhelming what's happening? Kirstin opened her mouth to speak, the dryness of her throat was felt by her every word.
"..All of you get out"
The two maids turned their heads in a doll-like manner the same movement. Blank green and white eyes stared back at her, smiling a little too wide for comfort.

The two walked in front of the girl, the other two following behind and they bowed before walking out of the room.
The girl could only stare at the carvings and antiquated patterns engraved on the door.
