The molten chamber trembled under the weight of Dakota's presence. His transformation into Flame Stage 2 sent waves of blue fire cascading across the battlefield, illuminating the room in an otherworldly glow. Opposite him, the Djinn of Wrath loomed, his fiery aura radiating raw, unrestrained power. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as the two figures stared each other down.
Djinn of Wrath:
"Your flames are impressive, mortal. But do you truly think you can challenge me? I am Wrath itself."
Dakota tightened his grip on his sword, his eyes burning with a calm intensity that masked the storm raging within.
Dakota:
"Maybe. But I didn't come here to play games, Djinn. If you think I'm afraid of you, you're in for a rude awakening."
Without another word, the two charged at each other, their movements blurring as they met in the center of the chamber. The clash of their flames sent shockwaves rippling through the air, the sheer force of their strikes cracking the molten ground beneath their feet.
Dakota's sword moved like a blur, each swing leaving a trail of blue fire that seared the air. The Djinn of Wrath countered with his massive molten fists, each punch generating a wave of intense heat that forced Dakota to stay on his toes.
The two combatants traded blows with blinding speed, their attacks equal in ferocity and precision. The chamber became a battlefield of fire and destruction, the walls scorched black as their flames collided again and again.
Dakota leapt into the air, bringing his sword down in a powerful arc. The Djinn raised his arm to block, the impact creating a fiery explosion that sent sparks flying in all directions.
Djinn of Wrath:
"You've got skill, mortal. But you're holding back. Why? Are you afraid of what happens if you go all out?"
Dakota smirked, his flames intensifying as he pushed the Djinn back with a series of rapid strikes.
Dakota:
"Holding back? You're one to talk. I can tell you're not giving me everything you've got. What's the matter? Afraid I might actually win?"
The Djinn let out a deep, rumbling laugh, his molten form glowing brighter.
Djinn of Wrath:
"Arrogant little mortal. Fine. Let's see how you handle this!"
With a roar, the Djinn unleashed a massive wave of fire that consumed the entire chamber. The heat was unbearable, the flames so intense that the ground itself began to melt. Dakota braced himself, his blue flames forming a shield around him as the inferno threatened to overwhelm him.
As the firestorm subsided, Dakota emerged unscathed, his flames burning brighter than ever. He charged forward, his sword slicing through the air as he closed the distance between himself and the Djinn.
Their battle became a deadly dance, each move calculated and precise. The Djinn's attacks were powerful and relentless, but Dakota's agility and quick thinking allowed him to stay one step ahead.
At one point, Dakota feigned an opening, baiting the Djinn into a heavy swing. The moment the Djinn committed, Dakota sidestepped and countered with a devastating slash that left a deep, glowing gash across the Djinn's chest.
Djinn of Wrath:
"Clever. But not clever enough."
The Djinn retaliated with a swift backhand that caught Dakota off guard, sending him flying into the wall. Dakota coughed as he stood, his body aching from the impact, but his determination remained unshaken.
Dakota:
"Not bad. But if that's the best you've got, you're in trouble."
The Djinn's laughter echoed through the chamber, his molten body regenerating at an alarming rate.
Djinn of Wrath:
"You still don't understand, do you? I've been holding back, mortal. You haven't even seen a fraction of my true power."
Dakota's eyes narrowed as he felt the Djinn's aura surge, his flames growing darker and more intense. For the first time, Dakota felt the weight of the Djinn's power, and he knew that this fight was far from over.
Dakota:
"So that's how it is. Fine. If you're holding back, then so am I."
Dakota raised his sword, the flames surrounding him flaring to new heights. His aura expanded, the blue fire shifting to a brilliant white as he tapped into a deeper reservoir of power.
Djinn of Wrath:
"Interesting. You mortals are always so stubborn. Very well. Let's see who breaks first."
The two combatants clashed again, their flames merging into a vortex of fire and energy that threatened to tear the chamber apart. The others watched from the edges of the battlefield, their expressions a mix of awe and fear.
Liam:
"Is this really Dakota? I've never seen him fight like this before."
Jack:
"He's going toe-to-toe with a Djinn. This is insane."
Henry clenched his fists, his pride wounded by his inability to contribute.
Henry:
"I hate to admit it, but Dakota's on a whole different level."
The battle raged on, neither side giving an inch. But as the dust and flames began to settle, the Djinn of Wrath smiled, his molten form glowing with renewed intensity.
Djinn of Wrath:
"I'll admit, mortal, you've impressed me. But playtime is over. It's time to end this."
Dakota stood his ground, his sword at the ready.
Dakota:
"Bring it on. I've been waiting for this moment."
The Djinn raised his hand, summoning a massive sphere of molten fire that pulsed with destructive energy. Dakota tightened his grip on his sword, his eyes locked on the Djinn.
the Djinn prepared to unleash his attack.
Dakota thinking: well this is going as I expect for the fight... But the Djinn knowing about us not supposed to be existing except Henry and his friends, that's something I couldn't have predicted. This was very unexpected, I mean just how does he even know that, did those three actually tell him... Wait dose that mean they also told blazer and fianna. Wait did those three even read my novel back in my past life? Oh I don't know but I guess they did. And I thought they wouldn't read the novel of someone they hated... Wait if they got reincarnated... Dose that mean my friends got reincarnated too? Man after I get out of this dungeon, I have to get to the bottom of this.
