The heat in the cavern was oppressive, choking the air with an unbearable weight as Franklin stood face-to-face with the Djinn of Gluttony. His opponent's grotesque, massive form loomed over him, a living furnace of unquenchable hunger. The ground beneath them had long since melted into molten lava, glowing faintly with every step the Djinn took.
Djinn of Gluttony:
"Why do you keep resisting, mortal? Your flames only whet my appetite. Give up, and perhaps I'll make your end painless."
Franklin clenched his fists, his body already aching from the prolonged battle. He knew he was at his limit, but surrender wasn't an option.
Franklin:
"You talk too much. I've had enough of you and your overgrown stomach."
With a defiant roar, Franklin charged forward, flames spiraling around his fists. His movements were quick and precise, each strike aimed to exploit any potential weaknesses. His flames seared Gluttony's flesh, but the Djinn seemed unfazed, his grotesque grin widening with each attack.
Djinn of Gluttony:
"Delicious! Yes, more! Give me everything you've got!"
The Djinn swung his massive arm, sending a wave of molten fire toward Franklin. The attack was too fast to dodge completely, and Franklin was forced to block it with a wall of flame. The impact sent him skidding backward, his feet digging trenches into the molten ground.
Franklin wiped the sweat from his brow, his breathing heavy. He could feel his strength waning, but he refused to give in. He had one option left—something he had been hesitant to use.
Franklin:
"Alright, you asked for it. Time to take things up a notch."
He closed his eyes, focusing his energy. His flames flared violently, enveloping his body in a fiery aura. Slowly, his form began to change. His muscles grew more defined, his skin took on a faint red glow, and his eyes burned with an intense amber light.
Franklin:
"Flame Transformation, Stage One."
The cavern shook as Franklin unleashed a powerful burst of fire, the flames so intense they forced the Djinn to take a step back.
Djinn of Gluttony:
"Ah, you've finally decided to put up a fight. Good. Let's see how long you last."
Franklin wasted no time, launching himself at Gluttony with renewed vigor. His movements were faster, his flames hotter. He delivered a barrage of fiery punches, each one exploding on impact. The Djinn growled, his grotesque body trembling under the onslaught.
For a moment, it seemed like Franklin might have the upper hand.
But Gluttony was far from finished. The Djinn opened his mouth wide, inhaling deeply. The flames surrounding Franklin's body began to waver, as though being pulled toward the Djinn's gaping maw.
Djinn of Gluttony:
"Your flames are impressive, mortal, but they are nothing compared to my hunger. Watch as I consume them all!"
Franklin's flames dimmed as Gluttony absorbed their energy, his grotesque body swelling with power. With a deafening roar, the Djinn unleashed a massive wave of molten fire, forcing Franklin to retreat.
Franklin:
"Damn it. He's eating my magic... I can't keep this up."
Gluttony advanced, his grin stretching impossibly wide.
Djinn of Gluttony:
"You're slowing down, mortal. Is this the best you can do? How pathetic."
Franklin gritted his teeth, his body trembling from exhaustion. He summoned every ounce of strength he had left, igniting his flames once more. But no matter how hard he tried, Gluttony continued to absorb his attacks, growing stronger with each passing moment.
The cavern was a battlefield, the ground littered with molten craters and scorched debris. Franklin was on his knees, his body battered and burned. His flames had all but faded, leaving him vulnerable.
Djinn of Gluttony:
"It's over, mortal. You fought well, but in the end, all you've done is feed me. I hope you're proud of yourself."
Franklin clenched his fists, his vision blurring. He could hear his comrade shouting his name, urging him to retreat. But he couldn't. Not yet.
Franklin:
"No... I'm not done."
He forced himself to his feet, his body screaming in protest. The air around him grew still, the oppressive heat replaced by a strange, calm energy.
Franklin:
"I've been holding back... but not anymore."
Franklin's body began to glow, his flames reigniting with an intensity that made even Gluttony hesitate. The fire around him shifted from red to blue, the heat so intense that the air itself seemed to burn.
Djinn of Gluttony:
"What is this?!"
Franklin's voice was calm, yet filled with unshakable determination.
Franklin:
"This is Flame Transformation, Stage Two."
The blue flames surged, enveloping Franklin's entire body. His form became ethereal, his movements almost too fast to follow. The cavern trembled under the sheer power of his transformation.
Franklin:
"You've had your fill, Gluttony. Now it's my turn."
He raised his hands, summoning a massive sphere of blue fire that lit up the entire cavern. The sphere pulsed with energy, growing larger and brighter with each passing second.
Franklin:
"Let's see if you can handle this."
With a mighty roar, Franklin hurled the sphere at Gluttony. The attack struck the Djinn with incredible force, the explosion shaking the cavern to its core.
When the smoke cleared, Gluttony was on his knees, his grotesque form charred and battered. His once smug expression was replaced with one of shock and fear.
Djinn of Gluttony:
"Impossible... how could a mortal wield such power?"
Franklin stood tall, his blue flames still burning brightly.
Franklin:
"You underestimated me. That was your first mistake. Your second? Thinking you could beat me."
The battle wasn't over, but for the first time, Franklin felt like he had the upper hand.
Franklin thinking: okay I finally have the upper hand, and looks like duke also has the upper hand... But I hope Dakota and my daughter and the other's are okay, but since all of them are with Dakota they should be okay, since Dakota is one of the most trustworthy person I know. He always get things done perfectly, and keeps pulling miracles out of nowhere, he will definitely become the strongest human one day.
