Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Lost Saiyan

(the cover and any pictures are not mine all of them belong to their respective authors)

In the year 727, two extraordinary Saiyan infants were born on Planet Vegeta. The younger of the two was named Kakarot, a tiny child with spiky black hair and a modest power level of 50. His twin and older brother was named Zaltron. Zaltron had wild, jet-black hair that cascaded down his neck in a spiky ponytail, with a faint silver tinge that most dismissed as a minor mutation. However, his power level, 1500 at birth, hinted at a potential far beyond the average Saiyan.

*(AN: If you didn't know, Saiyans are born with hair and their hairstyle stays consistent throughout their lives. Strange but convenient!)*

Time passed quickly, and as fate would have it, the day came when Frieza unleashed his destructive power upon Planet Vegeta, annihilating nearly all Saiyans. While Kakarot and his mother, Gine, were sent to Earth, Zaltron's journey took a different turn. He was meant to accompany them, but an unexpected collision with an asteroid knocked his space pod off course, sending him hurtling into the unknown reaches of space.

Three long years later, Zaltron's pod crash-landed on a peculiar planet. The planet's lower part was shaped like an upside-down square pyramid, while the top was crowned by a massive, dead tree that held an entire complex of ancient buildings. It was a world that seemed frozen in time, a place where the air itself whispered secrets of untold power.

Drawn by the crash, a captivating figure approached the scene. She had sky-blue skin, long flowing silver hair, and vibrant violet eyes that sparkled with both mischief and affection. Her sleek black dress, adorned with bold orange accents, hugged her form, while green arm wraps and a deep red sash added a warrior's touch to her elegance. A soft, swirling mist surrounded her, enhancing her already ethereal presence. She was Sariel, the angelic attendant of the God of Destruction.

Sariel's eyes widened in curiosity as she spotted the pod. "Oh? What is this?" she mused aloud.

The pod's hatch hissed open, revealing a small, frail figure inside. Zaltron, cold and malnourished, lay in a deep sleep, his once-strong body reduced to skin and bones. Sariel's gaze softened with an emotion she rarely allowed herself to feel—compassion. With a flick of her wrist, an angel's staff materialized in her hand. She gently tapped the boy's head, a warm glow enveloping him, healing his wounds and imbuing his mind with adult-like intelligence.

Zaltron stirred, his eyes fluttering open. "Huh? Where am I? Who are you? What did you do to me?" he asked, holding his head as a dull ache pulsed behind his eyes.

Sariel smiled, her voice melodic yet authoritative. "Hello, child. My name is Sariel. You've landed on the God of Destruction's planet. I am his angel attendant. I've healed you and awakened your mind. Your body will adjust to its new state in just a few months."

Zaltron blinked in shock, but his warrior instincts quickly kicked in. He composed himself and bowed his head slightly. "Thank you. Judging by my condition, I would have likely died from frostbite and starvation if not for your intervention."

A genuine smile spread across his face, a rare sight for a Saiyan so young yet so burdened. Sariel, enchanted by his sincerity and his adorable baby-like features, couldn't resist pulling him into a tight embrace. "You're just too cute!" she gushed, snuggling him against her chest.

"Muffled Sariel… you're kind of… suffocating me," Zaltron managed to say, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

Realizing her mistake, Sariel quickly released him, her own face tinged with a rare blush. "My apologies," she said, her usual composure returning as she ruffled his hair playfully.

20 Years Later

Two decades had passed since Zaltron's arrival on Beerus' planet. During this time, he had grown from a malnourished child into a warrior in his prime. Under Sariel's reluctant yet expert guidance, Zaltron trained relentlessly, mastering the use of ki and expanding his knowledge of the universe, science, and mathematics. His near-perfect memory became a valuable asset, and he quickly absorbed everything Sariel taught him. Their relationship deepened, evolving from mere teacher and student to something far more profound.

With the blessing of the Grand Priest himself, Zaltron and Sariel became lovers, eventually marrying in a ceremony that resonated through the cosmos. Zaltron's power grew exponentially, reaching a level of 3 million purely through intense training. Now, the time had come for him to embark on the journey he was meant to take two decades ago—to Earth.

Zaltron stood proudly before the newly refurbished space pod, which had been modified with Sariel's help. The once-cramped vessel was now spacious enough to accommodate a dozen people, complete with living quarters suitable for long journeys.

"Darling~ we're ready to depart! Come on, let's go!" Zaltron called out, his voice filled with excitement.

Sariel appeared at the entrance, her smile as radiant as ever. She had received permission from her father, the Grand Priest, to accompany Zaltron on his journey. As long as she kept up with her angelic duties and ensured Lord Beerus was sent to the Omni-King upon awakening, she was free to explore the universe by her husband's side. The Omni-King, Yamoshi—once a Saiyan warrior who had ascended to godhood—had been making significant changes throughout the multiverse and was planning to punish Beerus for his long period of inactivity as a Destroyer.

"Let's get this journey started, honey~," Sariel said, her voice tinged with excitement. "I've never done anything like this before. I can't wait to see what awaits us."

As they boarded the ship, Zaltron's mind buzzed with anticipation. Earth awaited him, but so did the unknown. With Sariel by his side, however, he felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

The ship's engines roared to life, and with a final glance at the planet that had been his home for so long, Zaltron activated the controls. The ship ascended into the starry sky, leaving behind the world of gods and angels as they set course for Earth, where his destiny—whatever it may be—awaited.
