I felt like a doll going through a shithole while a 5-year-old toddler plays with me. That's what this cleaning felt like, they pretty much took away all the Hell nutrients of my skin in this, and it felt worse than last time, and last time had already felt worse than the first. This time they added a nasty jet of surface cold water, one so strong that wherever it touched my skin, it reddened.
It got me in a horrible mood, even more because it definitely lasted something close to 5 hours, last time it felt shorter, so I'm annoyed, annoyed as hell. So, when they ask me why I punched the nose of the damned fairy so hard it broke and bled, when she came to me after I was dressed up and put together again, I'll say its because I'm annoyed. How could she come at me smiling as if I had been through heaven and back?
Was it impulsive? Yes. Nevertheless, I am not know for being the kind and patient type, I am impulsive, I just managed to lace that impulsiveness of mine for a bit in the last millennial, but fuck if being handle like this didn't got it right back.
"That hurts," she cried, as in literally teared up.
"Oh, yeah? Well, being treated like a chicken before being cooked over, for five hours, did not feel pleasant at all. Do you see my skin? I'm read, and I'm as pale as a ghost normally, which means, that bitch," I pointed to the jet that had come out of no-fucking-where and was still here, "hurt too. You can't expect me to be smiling like a drugged Tartarus goose, when you did this to me as soon as I got here!" I yelled, feeling my skin burn, because they really overdid it.
"It was necessary to,"
"I don't have any diseases, I am as clean and healthy as one could impossibly be in Hell, this was stupid, rude, and definitely not how you fae should treat visitors. We are exchange students, we will only stay for a while and go back, and this was a horrible experience, horrible, I would give you negative twelve stars."
Her dark skin blushed, blushed, "It wasn't supposed to feel so,"
"Terrible?" I snapped, trying to control my temper.
She pressed her lips tight, "I apologize in the name of all fae."
"No need to apologize. I broke your nose. We're even."
The fairy used healing magic to heal her nose but the blood remained in it, "Is this how you get even in the Underworld?"
"This is how I get even in the Underworld," I clicked my tongue.
"Poisontail, for sure," she groaned under her breath. "Come, let's go to the others," she lifted herself from the ground by two feet and began to fly in front of me, grabbing my backpack, I put my hands back on my pockets and followed her, already knowing the way.
When we got to the lounge of the spatial med-wing, which is deep into the underground and connected to portals everywhere in the academy, which is why it has the name, I found my siblings an the twins there, but not just them, as the other exchanged students were also here, all looking in a better mood than me and clean.
25 dwarves of the neighboring Kingdom of Rockcrow which is famous for its mines and weapons, 15 giants of the western Kingdom of Highland who are known for their majestic ancient wood work, the 20-year-old 100 humans who look overwhelmed and are known for their short life-span and by being gossipers who come from the human realm called Earth and are picked by having affinity with magic which is rare in their race, and the 20 children from houses that were banished in the Great War that are here for rectification into the Kingdom again.
There are already humans here, but not many, all legacies of other humans who came first in the exchange program and stay even with the risk of dangers, and if you want to know what's going on around here, you can just induce a human to talk to you, and you will even learn the nastiest gossips going around. It's part of my plan, to be able to create a strategy for this dooming mission, to get a human to tell me what's going on here. Though I already have an idea after what Markus spilled.
I did not expect him to, it was a nice surprise.
And they all stared at us, the smaller group give how dangerous we are, startled, probably because we have a fame that follow us everywhere, and it ain't a nice one. It's nasty, mean and gruesome, which might or not get worse depending on how we deal with our mission here. Five years, we have five years. I have five years, it's not much but it's good enough, a lot can happen in ten semesters plus vacation and breaks that will spend in here.
My biggest ally will be Irina either way, I can't wait to see her.
"Why are you bleeding?" One of the giants, the smaller one, a female in baby pink with tanned skin, white hair and black eyes.
She side eyed me, "Alyssa broke my nose."
"It doesn't look broken. It would look worse had she broke your nose with the intent on doing so," Kat scoffed, and I chuckled.
"I used healing magic, she had crushed it," the fairy hissed annoyed.
"I didn't tell you my name," I narrowed my eyes on her.
She clenched her jaw and with magic an archive popped in her arm, "I got all of the info your people gave us. Alyssa Helaena C. Valentine, 1069 years old, house Valentine, daughter of Alamea Valentine with Kairos, just Kairos and no surname, and the paternal older half-sister of six girls," she pointed to my sisters, "them. Though I don't know what the mute C stands form."
"Nothing, it's for charm," I grinned devilishly.
"You sound as full of yourself as your mother used to!"
She knew me? "You knew my mom?" I frowned.
"I was in her class," oh, she sounds bitter, "competitive freak. She was a Poisontail to the bone, but she also didn't give a fuck. Reckless enough to jump into the Cliff of Death like it was nothing. But you seem to have a nastier temper than she did."
What? She went to class with me? "What's your name again?"
"I am Aureathria Marrowaa, with two As at the end, but everyone calls me Thria Marrow," she arched her eyebrows at me.
Oh? Ohhhh!
The 10th in the top of my class, she used to try picking a fight with me all the time, but I mocked her, and when I was feeling nasty, I crushed her with arguments on whatever she was trying to fight over. She was one of the main reasons why I find the Mantises absurdly annoying. Now it makes sense, I should have punched her harder. "Ria would be a better nickname."
"Hah, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, you mother used to tell me the same thing. I see you are more similar than just your identical exterior," she mocked.
Maybe because I am her, dumbass. "That's not an offense, at all."
She clenched her jaw, as if she wanted to fight like she used to when we were studying together, but she swallowed and forced a smile that's clearly fake, but if you can't see past her vibe of good girl, you will think she's genuine.
