Micah's little inner circle is made by the winter wolf Kento Teshigahara, and the three vampires Nicolas Dufriche-Desgenettes, Rheia Cassavetou, and Violetta Bracamontes. Kento being actually his cousin from his mother's side, the son of her oldest sister who married a winter wolf from a Japanese branch and had him, he's to be a Duke. While the other three are the children of his father's closest friends and who help him take care of the Vampire Court, all Dukes, but of French, Greek, and Spanish origin.
And they are all devastatingly beautiful, but easily overshadowed by Micah. The male is just out of a fairy-damn-tale. I always find myself watching them when they are not looking.
Ah, they also take the 5th, 6th, and 8th spot in the top 10 of our year, as Micah takes 1st and Kento takes 3rd, Cleo is in 2nd thanks to me, the 4th place is taken by Donatella Scanzoni the heiress of the Witch Court, the 7th is taken by Lukas Bakken the heir of the Seraphins Court, the 9th is taken by Cleo's best friend Ingrid Koch the 3rd daughter of one of the dukedoms of the Mamba Court, and the 10th place belongs to Iwan Kurniawan the heir of the Siren Court.
Our class is pretty much the most powerful in the Academy, 80% made out of nobles and royalty.
And I was in the very back of the cafeteria, at 7:12, eating alone in my table, but keeping my class and looking unaffected, when Micah came inside with his group, all in different tones of black red the colors of the Vampire Court, except kento who was in midnight blue and silver the colors of the Shifter Court. I have no idea why, but as soon as they came in, glaring at everyone, everybody began to whisper while side-eying Micah. So, to ignore them, I tried staring down at my breakfast.
I'm having three pancaked filled with passionfruit mousse and covered in honey, two omelettes with buffalo cheese and pepperoni, a fruit salad of banana with mango and peach covered in a syrup made of condensed milk with passionfruit juice, accompanied by my passionfruit lemonade and some passion flower tea to make it all better.
Yes, passionfruit is my favorite fruit. I'm so addicted to it that three out of my five favorite perfumes have passionfruit notes. My ultimate favorite and the one I use the most, is Tropical Wood by Montale, which has a passionfruit, oud, and pineapple scent, that like all of Montale perfumes is everlasting.
The other two are Mayrit by Loewe that has a passionfruit, grapefruit, and cardamom scent; and Velorum by Tiziana Terenzi that is sweeter than the other two in comparison, having a delicious passionfruit, Mandarin orange, and white chocolate scent. While my other two favorite perfumes that are not passionfruit scented, are Soleil Brûlant by Tom Ford, that has a pink pepper, bergamot, and honey scent; and Angels' Share by Killian, that has a cognac, cinnamon, and vanilla scent.
I am a lover of parfums. In fact, 20% of all the money I got for putting myself through all this from the Abdelaal, I used solely to build myself a collection of parfums from at least 50 different brands. All because they may think that payment they give me is nothing, given how they are the richest un-natural kind in the surface with the Vampire Court closing on them, but it was actually quite the exorbitant amount of money for me.
20% I used to buy myself the outfits, shoes, jewels, and make-up I wanted. A monthly 40% since I started this when I was 9, I've been putting into a secret account I made for myself just for safety. 10% I used to spend it all on books, both the type that will give me knowledge and the fictional type to entertain myself. 5% I used to buy myself good weapons. While the last 5% I used solely to buy myself drawing tools of the best quality with a good price.
Believe me, it was really a huge amount of money, that to them was nothing short of a little tip for my work, to give me an incentive. It worked, the money is one of the main reasons why I swallowed my desire to murder all of them and keep doing this act. If there's money on the line, I'm on it, even if I hate it, because I love money, I love gold, after all, I am a dragon, and we dragons are addicted to it.
Gold recharges our energy, just like every kind has something that recharges theirs, even humans do. Ours is gold, hence why most of us sleep in a bed made of gold, when we sleep.
My favorite parfums are all golden looking, gold is my favorite color, I use it in everything. Clothes, make up, shoes, in my hair, my jewels, my accessories. That part is not just the character Chione, it is part of me, and I own it. Second to go is ciano blue, that kind of blue that is nearing green, similar to the blue of Tiffany & Co, which I like to call Egyptian blue.
But when it comes to my addiction in parfums, my extremely sensitive nose comes into play, and I can recognize anyone, depending on the time, by what parfum I breath in the air, I'm very confident in my knowledge in this area. Just as I am in baking and drawing, I can tell what material was used in the ink by the scent, and I also can tell the ingredients of a desert by it. While my taste comes into play with food and drinks, so I'm very sharp.
I can tell smells apart in the air, no matter if there's two hundred people in a room, each using a different parfum. I'm confident I can tell who is who.
Like I know all the scents that belong to Micah, or the ones belonging to Kento, Rheia, Nicolas, Violetta, Rheia's mate Hector Matthews Love, Nicolas' mate Arianna Isaacs, or Violetta's mate Markus Manninen. Hector being a dark elf, Arianna being a witch, and Markus being a vampire like Rheia. Normally Micah's surrounded by his four loyal dogs, but sometimes the group gets bigger when the other three join.
Most of all, Micah is nearly always with Kenton.
Daily, Kento uses Blue Matcha by Montale, which is predominantly matcha tea, blackcurrant, mate, and lemon scented; nightly, he uses Uomo Born in Roma Intense by Valentino, that is vanilla, lavender, and vetiver scented; while in dates and during tests or any competition, he uses By the Fireplace by Maison Margiela, which has notes of cloves, pink pepper, Guaiac wood, chestnut and Peru balsam. I particularly don't like the 3rd one, but I do like the two he uses the most, especially the Montale one.
