The pirates' greatest combat force was the battle frigate, the rest of the ships could be considered more for harassment and assault, but they could not travel blatantly in a war frigate, no ship worth its salt would ever approach a ship of those characteristics, but nevertheless having a couple of freighters on the radar heading to one of the colonies or space stations did not attract attention.
