As Laurent stormed off, Felix turned to her, grinning. "Chamomile, huh? You're feeling generous today."
Amara let out a long sigh, leaning against the doorframe as if it were the only thing holding her up. "Generous? More like strategic. If I gave him espresso, he'd probably reenact Les Misérables in the cafeteria."
Felix barked out a laugh. "You're not wrong. Although, I'd pay to see him climbing the tables, belting out 'Do You Hear the People Sing?'"
"Let's not give him ideas," Amara muttered, already imagining the headline: Drama King Duval's Revolutionary Performance... at a Corporate Luncheon.
As they walked back to her office, Felix fell into step beside her, his usual smirk plastered across his face. "So, what's the plan now, oh fearless leader? Another crisis waiting in the wings?"
