The city lights sparkled through the tall windows of the hotel room, casting a warm glow over the modern furnishings. Amara stretched out on the oversized bed like a queen on her throne, one hand clutching a glass of wine while the other lazily flipped through channels on the TV.
Elara, wrapped in a fluffy hotel robe, was perched at the edge of the bed, scrolling through her phone. She glanced at Amara, an amused smile playing on her lips. "You've been grinning like an idiot for the past twenty minutes. What are you so smug about?"
Amara tilted her head, mock insulted. "First of all, I don't grin like an idiot. I smirk like a devilishly charming genius. Secondly, I'm basking in the afterglow of my success."
Elara raised an eyebrow. "What success? Ordering room service without messing it up?"
