"Think Lorenzo will say anything about this?" Elara asked after a moment, still leaning on Amara's shoulder.
Amara gave her a pointed look. "Lorenzo? Say something? He's probably already planning the afterparty. You know how much he loves drama—unless it involves delaying his shooting schedule."
As if on cue, Amara's phone buzzed violently on the table. She groaned, picking it up and expecting yet another passive-aggressive group message. Instead, she saw a voice memo from Lorenzo.
"Oh, boy," she muttered, opening it.
Lorenzo's overly enthusiastic voice boomed through the room, nearly deafening them both. "My darlings! Justice has been served! Eirik Langford is canceled, arrested, and exposed as the slimy cretin we all knew he was! Drinks are on me tonight. Cancel the shoot we're celebrating this monumental occasion!"
Amara blinked. "Well, that answers that."
