Elara stood outside the gates of Lyselle Media, the massive building towering in front of her like a fortress. She could feel her heart pounding against her chest. This was it the first real step in her ridiculously dangerous mission to save Amara from herself. The thought alone made her stomach churn, but she couldn't afford to hesitate now. Not when Amara was trapped in that other world, or whatever twisted nightmare the System had stuck her in.
[You're going to need to act like you belong here, Elara. No one's going to help you if you look like a confused puppy.]
Elara shot a glare at the empty space around her, as if she could punch the System in its invisible face. "Thanks for the pep talk, I really feel prepared now."
[You're welcome. Now go in there and don't mess it up. If you fail this mission, you can't blame me. Well, you can, but I'm going to keep reminding you of your failure every time you try to sleep.]
