The night had fallen quietly after a long, eventful day. Amara and Elara returned to the hotel after receiving the all-clear from the doctor. "You're free to go, no signs of major issues," he had said, practically waving them out the door like a pair of criminals who had just been released on bail.
Lorenzo and a few members of the crew had also come by earlier, concerned about Amara's sudden hospitalization. But they, too, had left satisfied, knowing that their leading lady was, once again, perfectly fine physically, at least.
Now, they were back in the comfort of their suite. Dinner had already been dealt with something simple yet satisfying, mostly because neither of them had the energy to go for anything extravagant. After all, Amara had spent most of the day unconscious, and Elara had been playing the part of nurse for hours. The idea of anything more than a quick, easy meal was a cruel joke.
