Amara took a deep breath, suitcase in hand as she prepared to leave her family home. Today marked the start of the four-month filming stretch, and while a part of her was excited for the project, she was a bit unnerved by how long she'd be away. Well, at least she had something or rather, someone to look forward to seeing again: Elara. They'd been together a week now, and even a few hours apart had already felt longer than she'd like to admit.
She threw a last look back at her parents. "Don't let the place collapse while I'm gone," she quipped, smirking.
Her mother, Helena, lifted an eyebrow. "Please, Amara. The only one who'd ruin this place is you."
"Right, love you too," Amara replied dryly before lugging her suitcase to the waiting car.
Just as she settled into the back seat, her phone buzzed. Seeing Felix's name, she answered with a smirk. "Felix. How's surveillance duty?"
