Elara stretched, sinking deeper into the couch as the rain drummed against the windows. She glanced at Amara, who was currently wrapped in a blanket like a human burrito, her hair sticking up in a chaotic mess. It was a good look for her one Elara would definitely bring up later, purely for blackmail purposes.
Helena had mercifully left them alone after breakfast, throwing one last overly enthusiastic wink in their direction as she practically danced out the door. "I'll leave you two lovebirds to your day!" she'd said, and Elara swore she saw Amara die a little inside.
Now they were finally alone, with nothing but the sound of rain, a mountain of snacks, and a marathon of trashy reality TV to keep them company. It was a perfect day off. No Marisol, no Eirik, no weird fan theories. Just… them.
