Elara couldn't help but chuckle as she watched Amara struggle with the aftermath of their unintentional viral fame. One minute they were trending online, #ElaraAndMysteryGuy lighting up social media like a bonfire, and the next? Poof. It was gone, erased as if it never happened.
"That was fast," Elara mused, scrolling through her phone. "One second we're the talk of the town, the next, nothing."
Amara, who was still sulking by the office window, looked suspiciously relieved. "Good riddance. I was two comments away from locking myself in a closet for the rest of the day."
Elara smirked, tilting her head at her. "What, you didn't enjoy being called 'mysterious and handsome?' You were getting quite the fan base."
Amara groaned, rubbing her temples. "If I hear the word 'handsome' one more time…"
Elara gave a mock gasp. "Oh no, are you saying you don't like the attention? A rich heir like you?"
