The guys were still shoving the responsibility onto each other, debating who should attack the monster first; they were all too afraid of it. After all, a C-rank monster was still a C-rank monster, even if it was handicapped; surely, none could even scratch its skin.
However, over time, they began to notice something unusual.
"Wait a second! That monster seems… off."
A young man frowned and replied, "Idiot, isn't it obvious? The professors have gouged out its eyes and destroyed its teeth, remember?"
"Hafiz! I meant that the monster isn't actively attacking us."
"Oh, right…"
"I only just noticed after you mentioned it."
Liam standing nearby, also nodded in agreement with the guys' observations.
"This monster has lost its sight, so it can't actively attack us."
