"There's a very high chance that he'll return tonight to take action," Liam said with an uncertain tone.
He hesitated a little and continued:
"Based on his objective, it's easy to make a guess."
In truth, he wasn't sure at first whether the one who attacked the town was Matthew or not. Perhaps his guess was only around 60-70%. Because of that uncertainty, he wanted to leave the town as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary incidents. But now, after confirming that Matthew was indeed the culprit, and combining that with the information he had just gathered, the situation had become dire.
"What a disaster! If only I had predicted it sooner."
Liam pressed his temples, emphasizing his frustration – a gesture of self-blame.
His gaze then landed on the three people, still bewildered.
