In pitch black there was nothing except it. It was just there. It tried to make a sound but heard nothing. It thought it was moving but was it really moving? The thing , it felt nothing, was it even alive? maybe not but it knew that if this goes on for another minute it would go crazy. Though did it really know how long a minute is? Perhaps an hour had passed? possibly a year? or just a few seconds? maybe it was all of them. It's not like the amount of time would make a difference. It still would go mad. Suddenly it saw the darkness fading away ,crawling back to who knows where. The thing tried looking from behind to see where the darkness had escaped to only for it to go back to the front. The way the darkness moved places was a mystery, as if it went through a higher dimension, folding space and time.
Few moments later the consciousness that was in the pitch black space finally realized why the darkness escaped. There was a bright light that drove away the black. The pure white light kept coming closer and closer, inch by inch. It looked as if god sent a grace from heaven. Truly a blessing that saved one from going insane, but as it kept going even closer subtle shapes began take form. From a clear wave of whiteness to shapes that resemble a humanoid figure. From a shape that's barely passable as a human to silhouettes of unknown people, as it kept getting closer to a person sounds muddled buzz came into being. Then slowly those sounds became more humane, bits of words can be heard.
Suddenly Link jolts up from a pool of liquid, gasping for air, spraying the liquid in process. Link's mind still dizzy , looks around the place but capturing none due to his blurry vision, only seeing vague gray colors of the wall and the green flames lit around the room. Still feeling dizzy Link tried walking up but falling back to his knees. Link couldn't even think straight let alone utter a single word. Then one of the mysterious men approached the weak Link forcefully grabbing his mouth and pushing a pill inside. Soon after Link lost consciousness dropping to the floor like a human sized ragdoll.
"Haaah, haaah, haah" breathing heavily Link woke up. Still remembering the pain of being chocked link instinctively held his hands around his neck. Sensing a sigh of relief Link checked out the surrounding place. Gray stone walls, vines growing out and a small opening in the upper parts of the room. Link was put in the typical small rooms from the middle ages.
The door creaked open as a tall hooded figure with a black coat entered. The tall hooded man then sit down on chair, which seemed to magically appear out of thin air.
"Nokhoi number three or should I say Link. You died."
"What do you mean I DIED?"
"Just like I've said you have died. Well, more specifically you died in the overworld, but your body in the reverse world hadn't yet so we saved you, and saving a Life costs quite the fortune you see so you will be working with us until you've paid your debt."
"Wait wait, you can't just force someone to work."
"Let me ask you a question."
"Ok..." still feeling confused all about this Link continued on with conversation.
"Do you want die again? If you want we can make that happen. So state your decision. To die or to live?"
With anxiety built up from the previous encounters Link instinctively backed up to the corner.
"So to die huh? Fine by me"
"WAIT, wait wait. I'm sorry I'll work for you guys so please don't kill me again" Link said with forced smile, while dreading deep inside.
The man's sly smile slowly crawled out and finally the man said
"GOOD, I FORMALLY WELCOME YOU TO THE REVERSE WORLD NOKHOI NUMBER THREE"
