Charlotte waved her hand dismissively. "Don't bother yourself with me, I'll fill you in when I've thought things through. By the way, I wanted to apologize for not coming back to the club last night..."
But Natalie cut her off, a knowing glint in her eye. "No need to sugarcoat it, Charlie. I know you and Raymond set me up last night."
Charlotte's nose scrunched up as she smiled sheepishly. "I'm sorry, but seeing your expression now, I'd say everything went according to plan. I hope Mr. Raymond swept you off your feet last night, which explains why you didn't come back early." She raised an eyebrow, a hint of teasing in her voice. "Just hope you didn't do anything too reckless."
"I didn't do anything reckless, I promise." Natalie replied, lowering her gaze. She didn't know if she should tell Charlotte about what happened between Rachel and Raymond.
Charlotte smiled gratefully, "I am glad your love story is going well, mine is in shambles."
