[Do you want to go to on an adventure?
Y/N]
"What the hell?"
A young boy in a dark room, lit only by the blue light from the computer monitor, water cups and protein bars spread around the table, sees a message that appeared on it's own.
I should ignore it, it could be those porn game viruses. But maybe it's actually a cool game.
Going against his intuition, the boy accepted the message's invitation. And the message changed.
[1- What kind of adventure would you like to have?]
A- High Fantasy
B- Sci-fi
C- Low Fantasy
High Fantasy. I'm not a big fan of sci-fi, and low fantasy usually doesn't have a sprawling world.
[2- Are you a King or a Soldier?]
What kind of question is that? Is it asking about my character class? No, that should be chosen in the game itself.
Is it asking my play style? Well, I do like tower defense strategy games, but in MMOs I just choose the tankiest class so I don't have to worry about damage as I mindlessly charge in.
Y'know what, why not? I'll use my brain a litte.
The boy choose the 'King'.
[3- Choose your preferred media]
A- Anime/Manga
B- Cartoons/Comics
C- Video Games
D- Literature
E- Web Original
Okay, seriously, is this some kind of personality test?
After selecting option A, the message closes, without any warning. It said that it was only a survey. The boy was disappointed, but thankful it wasn't some weird virus.
"That was weird, but whatever! Anyways it should be dropping any time now. I can't... wait for... blue... proto─"
As a rush of tiredness washed over the boy, he couldn't resist the urge to close his eyes. Even though he had been waiting all night for a game he was excited for, he ended up sleeping at his desk. But he would wake up at a completely unknown place.

It's hot. The sun is beaming down on my entire body. The sun? Last time I remember, I'm still in my room, closed blinds, air condition and all. It was so cold I wore my hoodie. So what gives!
My eyes flutter as I try to open them. The sun, the sun's rays instantly meet my eyes. It's bright. I cover the sunlight with my hand so I see properly.
"...Where am I?" My voice was raspy, actually, my whole body felt weak.
I got up and looked around me. I was laying on a bed of flowers, surrounded by tall trees, and glowing mushrooms.
['Transcendental Summoner' system has been successfully installed]
[You have two message. Would you like to open them?]
System? Is this another world. Did that survey transport me to another world? God, I'm so hungry, why am I so hungry...and thirsty!
"Yes."
[Welcome to Agaria, a land of swords and magic. We have installed the Transcendental Summoner ability, that allows you to summon characters and items from the anime and manga you have watched, in you. We hope that you have a fulfilling adventure. Good luck. Goodbye.]
That was what the first message said.
"So I really have been transported to another world," I sigh. "I should've packed more things in this hoodie at least the protein bar. I guess I still have my phone."
The second message had an icon of an item. A gem that shone with all the colors of the rainbow.
[You have acquired a 'Top-tier Rainbow Jewel']
The gem materialized itself after a few seconds of glowing light just above the panel. After it finished, it promptly falls to the ground.
I picked it up, hold it up to my eye.
[Name: Top-tier Rainbow Jewel
Rarity: Z
Overall Evaluation: Used in the summoning as a price. The exceptional quality of this Rainbow Jewel allows it to summon the highest rarity of summons]
"Okay, and how do I summon characters? Status! System! System Menu!"
I tried to say various commands, but nothing showed up.
"Summon?"
That seemed to work as when I said it a blue glass panel appeared. The visuals were similar to those banners you'd see in a gacha game. 'Character Summon', it said. Of course there was also the 'Single Pull' and the 'Ten Pull' buttons.
Feels like I'm back to playing Fate/Grand Order.
And following that sentiment, I tried swiping the panel to the left and I was met with another banner. The 'Item Summon'. It shares many of the same elements as the character summon banner, but instead of using Rainbow Jewels it used something called 'Ancient Coins' which I would need fifty off for a single pull.
Does that mean it's more rare? Eh whatever, all I have is a single Rainbow Jewel.
"Alright then," I swiped back to the character summon banner. "Hello, gacha addiction, my old friend. I've come to bargain yet again."
Taking a deep breath, I tapped the button with the Rainbow Jewel. "Roll it!" It disappeared from the tips of my fingers, and the system closed on it's own.
Err—Is something supposed to happen?
While I was scratching my head, I feel someone tapping my shoulder from behind.
Turning my head I see a pretty woman. She had green hair tied in a bun with a hair needle running through it and one short and long strands of hair with orange tips framing each side of her face.
"You're the new lord I'm supposed to serve?"
[Name: "Hero of the Sand" Pakura
Rarity: SR
Origin: Naruto
Exclusive Ability: [Kekkai Genkai: Scorch Release]
Strength: B-
Endurance: C
Dexterity: B
Intellect: C+
Magic: C++
Luck: E
Overall Evaluation: She is a skilled and principled kunoichi who values loyalty and strength, yet her life was marked by betrayal. Her abilities in combat and the Kekkai Genkai made her a feared and respected shinobi. Despite her resentment over her death, she ultimately hoped for a better future.]
My first summon is the Hero of Sunagakure?
Immediately after, I received three notifications from the system. But before I could open them, Pakura asked me.
"What's your name?"
"Why do you need to know?"
Why did I say that? It's just a name.
As I was being confused with myself, Pakura also looked confused. Sorry Pakura, I lose my ability to talk when I'm speaking to beautiful women.
"Hm? If I'm meant to serve you, the least you can do is give me your name."
I don't know if she was, but she sounded offended. Which made me even more nervous.
"Oh, uh, yeah haha, I'm Roma," I outstretch my hand, offering a handshake.
"I'm Pakura." She took my hand.
Her hand was firm as she shook mine. She looks just like a frail pretty women, but I'm reminded that she's actually a renowned magic soldier.
Though I'm glad she's my first summon and not someone like Orochimaru.
"Roma-sama, then is it?" She asked with a mischievous smile, slightly tilting her head.
I answered with a wry laugh, "I'm too young to be a lord, don't you think?"
Pakura put her hand on her hip. "I've seen Kages younger than you. Ah, a Kage is—"
"I know what a Kage is."
'Sama', huh?
I knew it meant master or lord. I didn't actually disliked being called that. I just thought that it was a title that bears some responsibility, and I didn't want it not in this world. But maybe because I thought that this is a new world, that I wanted it.
"Alright then, 'sama' it is."
Pakura said nothing, only giving me a smirk.
