Chi Chali's only condition for handing over Wang Ming'an was that Chi He must marry Wen Rushuang.

Initially, Wen Rushuang vehemently denied any sort of transactional relationship, insisting that they were genuinely in love and had begun dating naturally.
Chi Chali didn't believe her and pointed to Zhao Guifang, who was with them, saying, "Chi He knows your aunt belongs to me. He has always been cautious around her. How could he possibly fall for you?"
