Qi Chongming cast a stern glance at Qi Chongzhong, his expression darkening further.
"Second Brother, are you implying that Qi Han was right in his actions?"
Qi Han, whose name was suddenly called, froze in place. His toes lightly tapped the floor as he prepared to stand and admit his fault, but a warning look from his father held him back.
Qi Chongzhong subtly signaled him to remain seated.
"Elder Brother," Qi Chongzhong said with a conciliatory smile, patting Qi Chongming's hand that rested on the table, "your nephew lacks experience. He's still young and bound to make mistakes. There's no need to blow up over such trivial errors."
Qi Chongming sneered, pulling his hand back. His piercing gaze landed on Qi Han, whose face had gone pale.
"A child, you say? If he weren't the vice president, I wouldn't care if he played with mud or toy water guns all day. But losing a two-billion-dollar contract is no 'small mistake'!"
