Jin Yao insisted on finding a secluded place to talk, and Chi Yu agreed.
After nearly half a year, the two stood face-to-face; though the place remained the same, everything else had changed.
Jin Yao seemed to want to say something, but words failed him.

All those past events he once tried to forget had returned to him in full.
Chi Yu, however, showed no reaction, merely murmuring "Oh," before meeting his gaze with cool detachment. "Anything else?"
Jin Yao's breath hitched.
