After having dinner and spending some time with Lian yuxi and Zhang Wei , she got to know a little bit about both of them.
Since the original owner was already a silent and introverted girl , she really didn't had to talk with Lian yuxi for now.
She went to the room allocated to her and locked it from inside. She flashed inside the space and ran around here and there in excitement. Even though, she is a big shot general commander in her previous world, she was still a girl inside that cold, calm and strict personality. She was just 23 years old and now in the body of a 17 years old. She could even be the youngest among their immortals team even counted according to age.
After being satisfied with taking in enough of the spiritual , she started to walk towards the villa , her grand villa.
Just as she was about to climb up the stairs, she noticed a big bluish-green egg lying on the corner from the stairs, slightly bigger than a duck egg. if not looked carefully, no one would notice it.
She turned around and walked around the staircase and got to the place where the egg was lying silently. Just as she was about to reach out and slightly touched the surface of the egg, if started to crack rapidly little by little...
She was startled at first but stared intently at the egg , she hoped for a cute little thing to appear as she remembered from the original owner's memory how small little things look so cute.
She waited patiently for a few minutes for the egg to crack but when something came out instead of a cute fluffy thing , it was a bald chicken head. Then emerged a black feather body. After staring at it for a while, she finalized that it was nowhere near from the word "cute" , but looked like rather an ugly bald headed crow.
The "ugly" little thing also stared at her with a hint of hesitate and contemplation for a while.
You stare at me. I stare at you.
After a while, as if being ignited by nirvana, the "ugly" little thing's eyes brightened and it rushed towards Rong jingyu.
" Master! "
"Master! Your back! Xiao huo missed master so much... wuu... " The "ugly" little thing called xiao huo leaned over Rong jingyu's shoulder and down poured tears calling her master.
This is the first time Rong jingyu saw someone.. ahem... Ahem... An ugly bald headed black chick crying.
She stood stunned looked at the drama played by the ugly little bald headed black chicken.
After coming back to her senses, she picked up the chicken with her index and thumb and brought it infront of her face and stared at it for a little.
" A chicken that can talk. Wow! It's so cool "
The emotional reunion that xiao huo thought was perfect, cracked as soon as Rong jingyu said those words.
" Master! Don't you remember xiao huo! And xiao huo isn't a chicken. Xiao huo is a phoenix and xiao huo is a male , so you can't touch xiao huo like that" xiao huo said it an aggrieved yet anxious manner thinking that it's master wouldn't recognize it since it also dropped down to just an egg before it yet to a deep sleep after trying to secure it's master last fragments of her soul.
Rong jingyu again looked at it nicely feeling amused but she didn't see any speculation of it being a phoenix . It just look like a deadbeat chicken .
Xiao huo looked at its master and knew from her look that didn't believe it. Xiao huo could only sign and resign itself to fate.
Rong jingyu looked at the chicken ..., oops ... Xiao huo signing like an old man looked like it had no hope to live and felt it was funny but she still felt a sense of familiarity with it and she left like, she had experienced it before too.
" You... Xiao huo? ... Who are you and how are you inside my space? And do you know me from before? How come I don't remember you?"
Xiao huo quickly settled his emotional reunion drama and sat down on Rong jingyu's shoulder. Looking at Rong jingyu, it slowly tried to remember and carefully selected it's words.
" master! Since it's your new incarnation, its normal for you to not remember xiao huo. Xiao huo is master's spirit animal connected by soul. I am inside masters space because master left me here to ... " He suddenly felt sad .
" Master left me here to recuperate and I've been here since 10,000years ago. Master promised me that she will come back and here, master really did fulfill her promise." Xiao huo suddenly felt overly excited.
Humph! Master still loves me the most... That wild man can only be second. Since, xiao huo can't sense that man's aura on its master , it only means , that man hasn't still met it's master . Even though, xiao huo knows it's inevitable to not let that man meet its master , xiao huo should still have a lot of time to spend with its master. Thinking of this xiao huo was suddenly overly energetic.
Rong jingyu was deep in thought when she heard xiao huo's words and contemplated for a while... " You ... Are my spirit animal connected by soul and you are a phoenix . And this is not my only birth but this body isn't mine how do you explain that "
Hearing this xiao huo looked at it's master for a while and suddenly a white transparent light came out of xiao huo's birdy bald head and flickeringly went into Rong jingyu's head. Xiao huo closed its eyes and after a few seconds xiao huo opened its eyes in shock and replied to Rong jingyu in a sad voice.
" Master! your soul fragments scattered ouy a little before I could collect everything and that little specks of soul were born as the Rong jingyu in this world.
While the other whole was born as you in another completely different universe. But both of them are still the same you and are one, so when you just came here , the body of this world's Rong jingyu just died but the soul was still there so as soon as you came near the other half of your soul , it attracted you and merged together."
Xiao huo seriously answered everything clearly but still had a slight dim light in it's eyes. It seemed to see a slightly blurry vision of that wild man . It wasn't clear but it was still there and he was sure that it was that wild man but he couldn't pin point it why he wasn't near its master and why was the image so blur as if being forced to be removed and he doesn't even exist on it's master memory . So what really happened?
