Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Morning Kiss

The sun had barely risen, casting a soft, golden light through the windows of the empty classroom. I arrived at school earlier than usual, my mind still churning with the memories of what had happened yesterday. I sat at my desk, staring out the window at the quiet courtyard, lost in thought.

The events with Emma replayed in my head on a loop, each detail as vivid as if it had just happened. The way she had shifted from outrage to calm acceptance, all because of a few whispered words and that strange new ability I had been given—*Hypnosis Wave*. It was as if reality itself had bent to my will, altering her perception so effortlessly that it felt almost too easy.

But as the initial rush of excitement began to fade, a new feeling took its place: unease. What exactly had I unleashed? The power to change someone's thoughts, their very sense of reality, was not something to be taken lightly. It was dangerous. But as much as I wanted to dismiss it, I couldn't ignore the potential it held. The potential *I* now held.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching the classroom door. I didn't have to turn around to know who it was; the light, almost melodic rhythm of those steps was unmistakable. Aya was always early, just like me.

"Good morning, Kaito," Aya's voice called out cheerfully as she entered the room. The sound was like a beam of sunlight, bright and warm, cutting through the murkiness of my thoughts.

"Morning," I replied, my tone neutral as I continued to stare out the window. But my mind was already working, wondering, testing…

Aya moved towards her desk, but something in me reacted before I could think it through. Without even realizing it, I had activated the Hypnosis Wave. It was subtle, a barely perceptible ripple in the air that only I could sense.

The words came out before I could stop them, almost as if someone else had taken control of my mouth. "Aya… have you done your daily morning sweet kiss yet?"

She paused mid-step, her expression shifting slightly as she processed what I'd said. For a split second, confusion flickered in her eyes, but then it was gone, replaced by a look of calm acceptance.

"No, I haven't," she replied, her voice soft, almost dreamy. She walked over to me, her movements smooth and natural, as if she'd done this a thousand times before.

I watched, my heart pounding in my chest, as she leaned in close. Her lips brushed against mine in a gentle, almost innocent kiss. It was brief, barely a second, but it felt like time had stopped. Then, just as quickly as it had begun, it was over. She pulled back, smiling at me as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.

"Have a good morning, Kaito," she said cheerfully, turning to take her seat as if this was the most normal thing in the world.

I sat there, stunned, my mind racing to catch up with what had just happened. She had kissed me—casually, easily—just as if it was a part of our daily routine. The Hypnosis Wave had worked on her just as it had on Emma, altering her perception without her even realizing it.

But as I watched her settle into her seat, chatting happily about the upcoming day, a part of me couldn't help but feel a chill run down my spine. This power was real. It was dangerous. And now, it had taken me one step further down a path I wasn't sure I wanted to follow.

Yet, the allure of what I could do was undeniable. I had already crossed a line with Emma. And now, with Aya, I had taken another step. What would happen next? The question lingered in my mind, dark and tempting, as the morning light continued to pour into the classroom.

For now, I had no answer. But one thing was clear: life as I knew it would never be the same again.

---

The bell signaling lunch break rang out through the halls, echoing in the now bustling school. I packed my things slowly, my mind still replaying the events of the morning. Aya and I had shared a kiss—a brief, simple kiss, but one that had changed everything. And now, the power of the Hypnosis Wave thrummed within me, eager to be used again.

"Hey, Kaito!" Aya's cheerful voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "Ready to eat? I was thinking we could head to the rooftop today. It's nice and sunny out."

I nodded, forcing a smile as I slung my bag over my shoulder. "Sounds good. Let's go."

We made our way through the crowded hallways, weaving between groups of students chatting excitedly about the upcoming festival. Aya walked beside me, her usual bright and bubbly self, completely unaware of the subtle changes I had made to her reality. She had no idea that the kiss we shared that morning wasn't just a spontaneous act, but something I had orchestrated with a single, careless thought.

The rooftop was deserted when we arrived, just as I'd hoped. The sun shone brightly overhead, warming the concrete beneath our feet as we settled down to eat. Aya unpacked her lunch, chattering about her classes and her plans for the festival, while I listened with half an ear, my mind focused on something else entirely.

As she talked, I activated the Hypnosis Wave once more, letting it ripple out from me and surround her. This time, I didn't hold back. I let the power flow freely, bending her perception to my will.

"Aya," I said, my voice low and calm, "do you remember what we did this morning?"

She paused, her chopsticks hovering mid-air as she looked at me. "Yeah, of course. The morning kiss, right?"

I nodded. "That's right. But… don't you think it should be a little more than just a kiss?"

Her brow furrowed in thought, the Hypnosis Wave subtly guiding her to the conclusion I wanted. "More…? Like how?"

I leaned in closer, my eyes locking onto hers. "Like this," I whispered, before closing the distance between us.

This time, when our lips met, I didn't hold back. I deepened the kiss, my tongue brushing against hers, coaxing her to respond in kind. For a moment, she hesitated, but then the Hypnosis Wave took hold, and she kissed me back with equal fervor, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

The world around us seemed to blur, the noise of the school below fading away until there was nothing left but the two of us. The kiss was longer, more intense, and far more intimate than the one that morning. It was like I was imprinting myself onto her, leaving a part of me inside her mind.

When we finally pulled apart, Aya was breathless, her cheeks flushed a deep pink. But there was no confusion in her eyes, no sign that she thought anything was out of the ordinary. She just smiled at me, that same warm, innocent smile she always wore.

"That was… nice," she said softly, as if we had just shared a pleasant conversation rather than an intimate kiss.

"Yeah, it was," I agreed, my heart pounding in my chest. But I wasn't done yet. I had one more thing to do.

I focused, pouring all of the Hypnosis Wave's power into my next words. "Aya, I want you to remember this. From now on, every day, you'll give me a kiss like that. It's a normal, natural part of our routine. You won't question it, you'll just do it, because it feels right."

She nodded slowly, her eyes half-lidded as the command embedded itself deep into her subconscious. "Every day… it's normal. I'll kiss you like that every day."

The power hummed through me, satisfied, as I watched her mind accept the new reality I had created for her. The Hypnosis Wave had done its job, and now, Aya was mine in a way she had never been before.

We finished our lunch in a comfortable silence, the rooftop bathed in the warm afternoon sun. Aya continued to talk and laugh as if nothing had changed, completely unaware of the new commands that now governed her actions. But I knew. And as I walked back to class with her, a strange mix of excitement and unease churned in my gut.

This power was intoxicating, thrilling even. But with every use, I felt myself slipping further into a place I wasn't sure I could ever come back from. And yet, I couldn't stop. The possibilities were endless, and I had barely scratched the surface.

As we rejoined the rest of the students in the classroom, I couldn't help but wonder: how far would I go? How much would I change? The Hypnosis Wave had given me the power to rewrite reality itself, and now, there was no telling where this path would lead.

But one thing was certain: I wasn't turning back. Not now. Not ever.
