Chapter 1 prolog
**-10 July 2124 -**
**Star College**
It was midday, and the luxurious Star College cafeteria buzzed with activity. Students ordered food and drinks while engaging in conversation with each other.
The aroma of five-star cuisine combined with refined drinks highlighted the status of the most expensive school in the western region.
A place like this was a dream for most students, but only a few could afford it and meet the college's strict admission criteria.
However, a few, like Alex, were the total opposite — at the lowest rung of society. Sitting in the corner of the luxurious cafeteria was a young man with black hair and blue eyes, wearing a pair of low-quality glasses and holding an old phone. He spoke to the screen, reading the latest chapter of a novel, completely indifferent to what was happening around him.
After the last lecture of the day, everyone headed home. Walking through the streets, Alex thought about what might happen in the upcoming chapters of his novel.
An hour later, he reached his home. After opening the door to his small apartment, he changed his clothes, freshened up in the bathroom, and came out a few minutes later. He started eating leftover food while looking at his phone screen to check the comments on the novel he was reading.
**Ping!**
"Hm?"
While reading the comments, Alex received a notification.
Out of boredom, he opened it.
**Click—**
A strange and confusing email appeared on the screen.
=====
**[YOUR COMMENT HAS BEEN SELECTED BY AUTHOR GOD!]**
**[Congratulations! A Godly Being will use your suggestion for their new creation! In exchange, you get a chance to meet the author, who will grant your wish, along with some bonus rewards!]**
=====
"What the hell is this?"
Alex grumbled and frowned after reading the content of the email. It didn't make any sense.
He was about to close the email without replying, thinking it would be a waste of time.
**Swaahh—**
Suddenly, a bright light erupted from his entire body, flooding the room with a blinding white glow.
"Argh! What the hell?"
He screamed.
The light coming from his body was so bright that he looked like some godly being descending from the heavens.
Strangely, the light didn't hurt his eyes, but he couldn't see anything other than pure white.
"What the hell is happening?!"
Alex exclaimed again.
'Okay, let's calm down,' he thought, trying to keep himself composed as his mind raced.
But while he was thinking, he suddenly felt like he was being 'sucked' into something.
"OKAY! WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?! THIS IS SO CREEPY!"
He yelled instinctively. He couldn't see anything, and panic began to rise. Calling for help never crossed his mind. Why?
Because what was happening didn't feel dangerous, just creepy and weird, and he doubted anyone could help him in this situation.
Worst-case scenario, anyone trying to help him might get caught up in this bizarre phenomenon.
Besides, Alex was an introvert with few friends, so the chances of anyone coming to his aid were slim. Even in this bizarre situation, he assessed things rationally.
He had developed a habit from childhood: no matter what was happening, his thoughts would remain clear and logical.
Which was a good thing, because panicking wouldn't do him any good.
So, what conclusion did he come to after racking his brain?
Nothing.
He stopped struggling and shut his mouth.
"Thanks for nothing, brain..." he mumbled, standing still.
There was no point in wasting energy. He decided to just go with the flow.
"I'm bored anyway," he muttered.
So, he stood there, doing nothing, letting the weird sucking phenomenon take its course.
"This better be good," he whispered.
That was the last thing he remembered before losing consciousness.
