Aethoria is a world with a unique blend of modern and historical fantasy.

The power scaling surrounds certain individuals called the Awakened, or Heroes with strange and powerful abilities, called [Stigmata], Attributes, Blessings, and Skills.

There are Eight known Ranks for Heroes;

Beta, Mortal, Eta, Hero, Quadra, Scribe, Hydra, and Candela Rank in ascending order. (I know, names are all over the place... Crucify me(⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠))

Each of this eight ranks actually belong to certain main Classes and categories, namely;

[Awakened Ranks]: Beta, Mortal and Eta Rank.

[Ascended/Hero Ranks]: Hero, Quadra and Scribe.

[Transcendent Ranks]: Hydra, Candela, ??? Rank

ITEMS And ARTIFACTS POWER SYSTEM SCALING

There exists unique items which grant extra skills — of eight ranks —and rare, powerful ancient Artifacts. Namely:

Basic (E)

Intermediate (D)

Advanced (C)

King (B)

Emperor (A)

Legendary/Epic (S)

Mythic (SS)

Divine (SSS+)

NOTE: Items and Artifacts are fundamentally different with Artifacts being more rarer and powerful than Items. Rather than [Item Skills], Artifacts bestow abilities called [Enchantmens]. Although Artifacts are ranked in the same order with Items, they are further subdivided into Classes and Tiers. Namely:

[Awakened Class]; Tier 1-3 (I-III)

[Ascended Class]; Tier 4-6 (IV-VI)

[Transcendent Class]; Tier 7-??? (VII-???)

Furthermore, Artifacts are immensely more powerful and unique than Items. They also follow the rule and order of Absolute and hence have certain negative aspects called Flaws, which are to balance the power scaling for the artifact. Flaws are absolute Authorities.
