I stood still, mouth ajar as I watched my brother try to hide his panic behind a smile, I'm sure he didn't expect this crowd either.
Yes, Pete's a big thing, he became a known music artist at his last year of senior highschool and that's a big deal.
But that was in our last city not here, me for one, I didn't expect anyone to recognize him here not to talk of this crowd, it's crazy.
I pressed through the crowd trying to make my way to him and that was proving to be difficult, urrrrg.
"You'll all make way for my girlfriend to pass"
I heard Jace say, I knew it was him even before I turned around and met his annoying smirk, hasn't he gotten enough drama for one day?
And just like magic, it actually worked.
Everyone turned around clearing way for me as they heard his voice. I ran up to Pete as everyone gasped and whispered
"Why is she here?"
"Who is she to him?"
"Don't tell me she's dating both Jace and him"
"She must be a two timer, in fact three, seems all the guys are after her"
I heard all these and many more I felt sick to my stomach.
"Let's go, let's go" I said to Pete as I entered the car and he rushed in relieved too.
Don't get me wrong, he loves his fans but the pressure and attention is just too much sometimes, I mean he's just a college student after all.
"So today looked interesting, you went from soon to be girlfriend to girlfriend in less than 24 hours, that's pretty dope" Pete teased and laughed while I groaned.
"Spare me some slack please, I'm tired, today's been really exhausting"
I replied as I looked out the window. We stopped by the supermarket and got some things needed for dinner.
When we finally got home, I got out the car and went to get our stuff out of the trunk when a car parked across the street and someone yelled from it's driver's seat window.
"Hey girlfriend".....
Jace's Pov
"Hey girlfriend"
I said from across the street, watching her startled face amused me.
I'm pretty sure she must think I was a stalking annoying bug but well that's not the case.
Annoying yes but not a stalker. It was about three weeks when they first moved in our neighborhood, yes, I lived across the street.
I was sitting by my room window when their car first drove in and I was stunned by her beauty, something about her just seemed to pull me hard.
All I could do was stare at her from my window place whenever I saw her, I could never quite figure her out with just looking at her unlike other girls.
I was surprised and excited to see her in school yesterday, I finally had a reason to talk to her so there was no way I was going to let that chance go.
This was a new feeling for me, and I was going to find out why and how she made me feel this way.
Emma looked back at me, irritated, she stormed into her house while I laughed.
It's always fun and interesting with her, you never know what she would do next, it was refreshing to see new things so I can't let her be unfortunately.
Emma, I believe it's gonna be a wild ride with you, I'm ready for it, I hope you brace yourself for it.
