**Ethereal Sanctuaries** are special portals that do not advance one's evolution stage but provide access to powerful artifacts or rare abilities. **Ethereal Sanctuaries** can appear spontaneously in the most unexpected places and often require a team to traverse. The tasks within them vary from combat trials to complex puzzles.
After each Limit Sphere, people increase their connection with the Heart of Essence and advance in the stages of power evolution.
