The Man In The Goat Mask: The second link lies within the university, so the question is how the book will play out its role here.

(Next Morning).
(In the library).
He reads a book about the project that they're currently working on for a class they need to pass to graduate.
Dabi: I'm bored.
Throws the book away.
Shigaraki: Same I don't want to do this.
Leans back against the chair.
Overhaul: We have to asshole.
Picking up a book about haunted places around Japan.
Shigaraki: The professor said we have to choose a place to investigate so let's choose blindly and go from there.
He grabs the book out of Overhaul's hand, flips through random pages, and immediately chooses an abandoned cabin.
Shigaraki: This one cause it looks simple and easy, plus, there's probably not that much research. So let's do it.
He looks at both Overhaul and Dabi.
Overhaul: ...
He looks down at the book just to see the location of where the cabin is located for some reason, it's possible to get to since it's not that far from the University.
Overhaul: I guess we could go there since it's not that far from here.
Says it calmly while looking at the cabin for a moment. Wondering what is the lore behind the cabin.
Dabi: Kai, you research 'cause I don't want to, so I'm going to go see you tomorrow.
Gets up and walks away.
Shigaraki: Yeah, same. See you tomorrow.
Gets up and walks away as he stands right next to Dabi.
Overhaul: ...
Looking at the page for a short moment before wondering what type of information the Cabin is, but for some reason, the book provides little information.
(In his mind).
"This is the only class that I need to graduate so I need to dig up more information."
Taking a picture of the cabin with his phone just to see if anything could appear on the web search. Unfortunately, only a few pictures and information popped up.
"The cabin was built in an unknown period but people rumor has it that it was built in the 1760s or so they say."
(Out of his mind).
Overhaul: So nobody knows about this Cabin so what's the point in choosing it in the first place?
Sighs slightly in frustration while placing the book on the table. Remembering his boss for a short moment especially the meeting that they recently had.
Overhaul: Boss...
Got up slowly, grabbed the book, and walked out of the library.
(In the background).
The Man In The Goat Mask: Even that horrible man is in this world too? Even though it's expected since the first link had him.
Remembering Dabi for a short moment, especially the original one including the one from the past.
The Man In The Goat Mask: I just hope he doesn't become bothersome in the future.

(Next Day at Overhaul's Dorm Room).
Waking up slightly as he turned slightly away from the alarm even though it wasn't even ringing at all. The room was completely quiet. Closing his eyes, he heard a loud banging against the door, possibly Shigaraki or Dabi.
Overhaul: ...
Staying quiet pretending that he's still asleep.
(Outside of the door).
Shigaraki: Time to get to the cabin Bastard!
Kicking the door open after hearing no response for the past five minutes when he was out there.
Overhaul: Have you heard of knocking?
He looks at him, annoyed, as he gets up from bed and heads towards the broken door, using his quirk to repair the damage that Shigaraki has caused.
Shigaraki: I want this project to be done with so I can party tomorrow.
He looks at him, annoyed since waiting for him was bothersome.
Overhaul: Whatever.
After repairing the door, he immediately went towards his backpack just to get the supplies they needed for the investigation. Along with the book from the library and especially his medication.
Overhaul: Let's go so I don't have to see your face again.
Walks out of the room as he pushes Shigaraki out of his dorm. Closing the door right behind him and locking it.
Shigaraki: Calm down Bitch it's not my fault I got stuck with you.
Growls at him.
Overhaul: Whatever, let's just go.
Walking down the hallway, staying quiet, not saying another word to Shigaraki. Looking up slightly just to see Dabi smoking a cigarette.
Dabi: Let's get going.
Looks at both Overhaul and Shigaraki.
(A few minutes later at the parking lot).
Dabi: How was the research going?
He looks over to Overhaul since he was the one who was supposed to research the cabin.
Overhaul: Terrible. There's not much about the cabin, so I don't know how we are going to do this.
Sighs slightly in frustration.
Shigaraki: If we don't graduate then I'll decay your ass.
Looks at him annoyed.
Overhaul: You're the one who picked it!
Yells at him.
Dabi: Enough pretty sure we'll figure out something.
Looks at them both calmly while opening his car door.
Overhaul: ...
Staying quiet as he goes into the vehicle he doesn't want to push the argument any further since there's no point in the matter.
Shigaraki: Fine.
He goes into the front of the car and shuts the door since he's in the front with Dabi.
Dabi: Probably we'll find more information once we're over there.
He goes into the car and starts the car, putting up his GPS for the location of the cabin that's not that far from the university. Driving off, heading towards the location of the cabin, which is in the deep forest. Turning up his music of punk rock just to listen to it during the trip.
Overhaul: ...
He looked down at the library book, looking through pages about the cabin, but noticed that the Cabin was almost close to an old town. Flipping through pages, he noticed images of dead bodies and a group of people wearing a goat mask.
(In his mind).
"I haven't seen this in the book. Is there something more about the cabin than expected to be? But what's with the old town? Is it connected with the Cabin?"
(Out of his mind).
Hearing the punk music stopped suddenly, which made him look up slightly to see if they made it to the location.
Dabi: It seems that we have to walk there.
Looks back at Overhaul and then at Shigaraki as he points at a sign saying that the Cabin is up ahead for walking distance only.
Shigaraki: So I guess let's get this over and done with.
Gets out of the vehicle and heads towards the path. He looked back slightly to see if Dabi and Overhaul were coming.
Dabi: Let's go.
Getting out of his car and walking towards Shigaraki.
Overhaul: ...
Getting out of the vehicle, heading towards Dabi and Shigaraki. Holding the book in his hand including the backpack. The back of his mind is telling him to go back, thinking it's a terrible idea, but anything for the final grade, anything to graduate.
All three start walking through the forest, heading toward the direction of the cabin. However dark clouds started to roll in quickly even though the weather was supposed to be clear.
Dabi: Did anyone check the weather this morning?
He looks at both Overhaul and Shigaraki as he starts to walk faster.
Shigaraki: Not really, but who cares? I think we're almost near the fucking cabin.
All three start running after rain starts to pour down from the sky. Everyone looks up suddenly just to see the cabin.
Dabi: Let's get this investigation started.
Walking up to the cabin and noticed that the door was open. A possible chance that someone might be inside.
Shigaraki: What the fuck are you waiting for let's get inside.
He goes inside the cabin just to see everything seem simple. Nothing smash or old it's just a simple cabin.
Dabi: Shigaraki.
He goes into the cabin but looks slightly just to see Overhaul still standing outside in the rain.
Dabi: Overhaul, come inside. You're getting soaked!
Walks up to him and grabs his arm.
Overhaul: I don't want to be in there... Something feels off...
Trembling slightly while holding the library book. Looking down at his trembling hand realizing that he's terrified of coming in.
Dabi: Are you scared about the door being open? Listen, if you're scared, just use your quirk.
Looks at him concerned.
Overhaul: Use my quirk? Oh yeah, that solves the world's problems.
Says it sarcastically in the second part.
Dabi: Ugh then I'll protect you then if that makes you feel better.
Says it calmly while being soaked by the rain.
Overhaul: Fine...
Goes inside the cabin along with Dabi.
Shigaraki: What took you so long?
Looks at both Overhaul and Dabi.
Shigaraki: Anyway, I found something that could be interesting to our project. Follow me.
Opening up a hatch that was under a carpet that leads to the basement of the cabin or an underground tunnel.
Dabi: Uhh, how about we do some investigation on the surface before we go down there?
He looks at Shigaraki, a little bit concerned since he didn't expect that to happen.
Shigaraki: Good idea. It's way more terrifying in the nighttime.
Smiles at him.
Overhaul: ...
Looking around slightly and noticed a room especially a door that was completely open. Walking inside and noticed it was just beds, nothing special, but one of the beds had something under the covers, which he found a bit odd. Reaching out for the covers to remove it but noticed blood appearing on the sheets. His eyes widen looking at the blood as he covers his mouth.
The blood begins to pour down from the bed, which makes him back away immediately but ended up bumping into Dabi and Shigaraki.
Shigaraki: Damn cool beds.
Passing up Overhaul to check out of the cool beds.
Overhaul: ...
Looking back slightly just to see that the beds are completely normal. Which makes him wonder if it was his medication that he had taken earlier.
(In his mind).
"Is it all in my head?"
(Out of his mind).
