Genya looked at Uchiha Shisui, feeling a bit speechless. He didn't want to look at this naive clan member with his Dual Pupil.
It was hard to believe that Uchiha Shisui had put all his intelligence into training, neglecting social awareness and vigilance toward the world.
No wonder he ended up ambushed by Danzo! He trusted others too easily.
"No..." Uchiha Shisui shook his head in confusion, not understanding what Genya was trying to say. But he expressed his thoughts, "This must be the Third Hokage's doing. How else could the villagers' attitudes toward the Uchiha change so quickly?"
"Ha ha. When you have time, go ask them yourself. You're one of Konoha's top geniuses, so don't let yourself be easily deceived!" Genya said with sympathy, hoping Shisui would figure out the truth for himself regarding the villagers' changing attitudes. He knew that if he told Shisui directly, he probably wouldn't believe it.
After that, Genya continued to chat with Shisui about various topics, but they seemed to have conflicting views, making the conversation quite frustrating.
He realized that Shisui had immense respect for Konoha, Sarutobi Hiruzen, and the Will of Fire, understanding the power of the Third Hokage's indoctrination.
Eventually, he left with some dissatisfaction.
However, before leaving, Genya reminded him, "On the way here, my dad asked me to tell you that using the Mangekyō Sharingan consumes a lot of ocular power. If overused, it could lead to blindness, so use it carefully!"
After giving the reminder, Genya turned and left.
Hokage's Office.
"Shisui activated the Mangekyō?"
Hiruzen looked at Sarutobi Eisuke beside him, his tone heavy.
"We've investigated the situation. They were surrounded by Cloud ninjas, and at a critical moment, Uchiha Shisui awakened the Mangekyō and activated Susanoo, saving several people!" Eisuke recounted what he learned from the two survivors from the Hyūga clan.
Hiruzen nodded. "The Uchiha are indeed a powerful clan. They only grow stronger through battle. However, the villages are at peace now, and we don't need war!"
Deep down, Hiruzen held disdain for the Uchiha clan.
Even though Shisui was one of them, there was a hint of contempt in his voice.
"With a Mangekyō user in the Uchiha clan, they might become uncontrollable!" Eisuke was not as calm as Hiruzen.
An Uchiha capable of activating Susanoo was comparable to a Kage-level ninja, especially since it was the genius ninja Shisui!

He started to seek Danzo's opinion.
"The Uchiha are an unstable group; Konoha doesn't need a clan like that!" Danzo looked at Hiruzen, a smile creeping onto his bandaged face. "It's a simple matter, as long as you are determined!"
"Determined to expel the Uchiha?" Hiruzen frowned, seemingly guessing Danzo's intentions.
In truth, ever since learning that Uchiha Shisui had also awakened the Mangekyō, he felt a sense of crisis.
Previously, he thought about suppressing them until they fell into decline, like the Senju clan! But now, he was a bit afraid. As long as someone has Uchiha blood, they could potentially awaken such a terrifying ability in the future. These were all unstable factors.
If that person held a grudge against Konoha or the Hiruzen clan, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Expel them? Hiruzen, your thinking is too conservative!" Danzo suddenly laughed, looking at Hiruzen. He didn't expect this old fox, who had conspired with him on so many matters, to hesitate on this issue and even think about expulsion.
"What do you want to do then?" Hiruzen frowned and asked Danzo.
Danzo looked at Hiruzen and said, each word deliberate, "Eradicate the Uchiha clan from Konoha!"

Hiruzen didn't outright refuse; instead, he considered the feasibility of the situation.
"We don't need to act so quickly. Destroying a clan isn't something that can be done overnight; we can plan slowly!" Danzo noticed that Hiruzen didn't reject his proposal.
A smile crept back onto his face as he said to Hiruzen, "If you're afraid of Uchiha Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan, you can leave the task of dealing with him to me. Once I kill Shisui, you can take action against the Uchiha clan!"
"If I fail in dealing with Shisui, I will take full responsibility, and it won't affect you!"
Danzo knew Hiruzen well, so he voiced all of Hiruzen's concerns, allowing him to feel at ease.
Hiruzen fell silent, seemingly pondering the feasibility of the matter.
After a long time, he took a puff from his pipe and exhaled a cloud of smoke before nodding seriously, "Alright, we'll do it your way. The Uchiha clan is too unstable, and eliminating them would be beneficial for the village!"
Even at this point, Hiruzen was still talking about the Uchiha clan's evil, but he didn't mind; his decision would lead to the annihilation of an entire clan.
In terms of evil, it was still he, the Hokge of Konoha.
"Since that's settled, I'll head back and make arrangements!" Danzo laughed heartily, eager to think of ways to extract Shisui's Sharingan. The thought of that Mangekyō eye was incredibly tempting, and he could hardly wait.
"Wait!" Hiruzen called out, seemingly recalling something. "I still need to set up a few pieces on the board. Don't take action against Shisui for three years; I still need him for now!"
"Why?" Danzo asked, puzzled.
"You'll understand when the time comes!" Hiruzen said, chuckling to himself, "It might be quite interesting then."
On the street, Genya was preparing to return to the merchant guild, but as he walked, he felt a headache coming on, and his Dual pupils began to twitch!
Based on previous experiences, this was a sign that his Sharingan was about to awaken again!
The third tomoe was likely about to manifest.
What kind of ability would this third tomoe have?
"Uncle Shin, you go back first. I want to take a walk by the river!"
"Should I go with you?"
"No, I can go alone."
After saying this, he parted ways with Uchiha Shin and headed toward a secluded spot by the river.
This awakening felt much more intense than the previous two. He wondered if there would be any unexpected changes along the way, so he aimed to find a hidden place.
