He had heard his father say that starting today, the Police Force would be quiet, but he didn't expect it to feel so gloomy and silent.
"Sir, we received a complaint while patrolling today!" someone stepped forward to report, still sounding rather lifeless.
"Were we wrongfully accused?" Itachi frowned.
Uchiha Fugaku nodded. "It seems they are deliberately targeting our Police Force!"
"Lord Hokage might also be misled by those people!" Itachi's brow furrowed. "Father, I will bring this up with Lord Hokage when I go to his office tomorrow!"
Itachi believed that the Hokage favored those troublemakers because he had been deceived.
However, he quickly thought, "If someone is targeting us, then the Police Force at the merchant association will likely be targeted as well. They might face even more trouble..."
