"So, what else can you do?"
Genya glanced at Might Guy, his tone carrying a hint of interest, though mostly it was disappointment. He wanted Might Guy to think he wasn't interested in his special skills.
That way, Might Guy might agree to teach him his core Taijutsu Technique, like the Eight Gates technique.
"Ah? I have another special skill that could make you a top ninja even without a bloodline limit!" Might Guy replied, but then he seemed to have a realization. "Not that I'm saying you don't have a bloodline limit!"
Might Guy then remembered that Genya was from the Uchiha clan and might not have the Uchiha bloodline limit. If he did, he wouldn't have focused so much on Taijutsu.
Might Guy had spent years honing his Taijutsu skills and knew how tough it was. A ninja with the Sharingan bloodline limit could become a Chunin just by awakening it, but Genya obviously didn't have the talent for that.
"That's okay, I'm not concerned about that!" Genya smiled and shook his head, clearly not taking Might Guy's words to heart. His eyes, though not the Sharingan, were still special.
"I firmly believe I will reach the top of the ninja world!"
"That's the spirit!" Might Guy's blood surged with excitement upon hearing this. "I can feel the power of youth! My blood is burning!"
Genya looked at Might Guy with admiration. "So... what's your special technique? Can you teach me?"
He had longed to learn Might Guy's special techniques.
"The Eight Gates technique requires you to unlock several Tenketsu (Eight Gates) in your body. It can dramatically increase your combat power for a short time!" Might Guy looked at Genya with intensity. After a moment, he added, "But I can't teach you this technique just yet."
"Why not?" Genya asked, curious.
"Your body is still too weak. You won't be able to handle the strain from unlocking the Tenketsu," Might Guy said, eyeing Genya's small frame and raising his thick eyebrows. Genya was too young to withstand the Eight Gates technique.
"So, when can I learn it?" Genya asked eagerly.
"Keep training with me every day. When I see that you're ready, I'll teach you!" Might Guy said, waving his hand. "It's getting late, kid. You should head back!"
"See you tomorrow, Bushy Brow!" Genya waved goodbye to Might Guy and walked home slowly.
When he got home, he ate a lot of food to satisfy his hunger. When his mother asked about his day, he told her all about it. Hearing that Might Guy had taught him Taijutsu skills, Uchiha Kinya was very impressed and thought his son was really smart.
The next day, Genya ran his usual route and practiced Taijutsu skills with Might Guy. This time, he carried a small backpack. After their run, Genya invited Might Guy to dinner, and they became even closer friends.
Days turned into weeks, and before long, a month had passed. Genya was comfortable with his routine. Every morning, he ran and practiced Taijutsu skills, and then went to the training ground.
Coach Uchiha Zentaro continued to teach basic skills like shuriken throwing and the shadow clone technique, and the more advanced students learned fireball techniques.
However, Genya struggled because the chakra in his Chakra Reserve was absorbed by his Dual Pupil eyes. The remaining chakra was unstable, making it difficult for him to even perform simple techniques like the clone technique.
This led to mockery from the Uchiha clan, especially from Itachi and Sasuke, who looked at him with contempt and disdain.
"They say monsters are different, and so are aliens. He's just not cut out to be a ninja!"
"Useless!"
"He's truly useless!"
The taunts continued, growing more irritating by the moment.
Genya felt a surge of anger, wanting to lash out. But then he remembered something else.
His eyes, with their Dual Pupils, were like endless wells. As long as there was chakra in his Chakra Reserve, it would be slowly drawn in by his eyes. He didn't know how long this process would go on.
Before he can master Sage Mode, he must first learn the Chakra Infusion Technique and transform every cell in their body into a Chakra Reserve to store chakra.
Moreover, he need to be able to manipulate chakra efficiently to perform ninjutsu effectively.
It's a lengthy process, and Genya was determined to improve his Chakra Infusion Technique quickly. If he could eventually turn all his cells into Chakra Reserve, he might even surpass the chakra capacity of the tailed beasts and avoid needing Sage Mode altogether.
As he pondered this, a comforting figure appeared before him.
"Genya, don't be disheartened. You will definitely succeed and master ninjutsu!"
Genya looked up slowly to see Uchiha Izumi standing in front of him with a warm, encouraging smile.
"Don't worry, their mockery won't affect me," Genya said with a smile, nodding in appreciation.
Lately, only Uchiha Izumi had been kind to him. Whenever others mocked him, she would come to offer comfort. There was also Uchiha Izo, who was polite but did not dare to offer comfort in front of others.
Genya knew Izo was the son of Uchiha Omura, likely due to his father's involvement with the Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, the children of the Uchiha clan often distanced themselves from him.
Despite this, Uchiha's involvement had made Uchiha Kinya's business much safer. The Uchiha jonin were incredibly strong, and few would dare to rob them. Hiring Uchiha members had actually reduced costs significantly, showcasing the dominance and advantages of the Uchiha clan.
Meanwhile, in the Third Hokage's office, Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, was examining documents on his desk, tapping his fingers thoughtfully. Next to him stood a ninja clad in Uchiha attire.
This man had a serious look and wore a Konoha ninja forehead protector. He was quite handsome! Though only about twelve or thirteen years old, he appeared very calm and composed.
If members of the Uchiha clan were present, they would definitely recognize him: Uchiha Shisui.
Shisui was a prodigy from the Uchiha clan and a loyal supporter of Konoha. He glanced at the Third Hokage, who seemed lost in thought. Shisui wondered why the Hokage had called him here. The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
After a long pause, the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, looked up at Shisui. A gentle smile appeared on his wrinkled face, making him seem kind: "How is the Uchiha clan doing lately?"
Although his tone was gentle, his words were a bit cold. He wanted to know if the Uchiha were being monitored closely.
"Is the clan peaceful now, or are things still the same as before?"
Shisui was taken aback and shook his head.
Hiruzen listened to Shisui's update. His smile stayed, but his tone grew colder: "I've heard that the Uchiha clan is becoming restless. Are they growing more dissatisfied with Konoha?"
