"Listen carefully, Alex, this is my last warning. If you untie me now, I promise I'll go easy on you." Mila warned Alex. "And tell me who this Ghost is that everybody is going on about?"
"Hahaha," A mocking laugh escape Alex's lips as he scoffed at Mila's request. "You must think I'm an idiot, Mila. If I let you lose, you'll tear me and this place apart. Sit tight, I have some unfinished business with that lover of yours.
"We could have resolve this like adults, Alex...But since you didn't listen, I'll free myself from this filthy chair and walk towards you. And before you can say what happened I will rip your throat out."
A hint of surprise flickered across Alex's face at Mila's declaration. "Nice try, Mila, but don't forget, I grew alongside you, I know all you move so try it but before you do that I need to go and take care of that...What just happen?"
"I warned you Alex," Mila's voice rang out with determination. "Consider yourself lucky this time. I won't rip out your throat." With swift, practiced movements, Mila bound Alex to the very chair she had been tied to moments before. Taking both guns, she ensured he was disarmed.
Leaning down, Mila pressed a kiss upon Alex's head, her actions paradoxically tender yet fierce. "Sit tight Alex. I'm going to find my last living boyfriend and then call my father. He needs to know where you are, " she declared. With that, Mila turned on her heels, striding out of the cell.
"Mila! You can't leave me here! Untie me and let me help you!" Desperation filled Alex's voice as he pleaded from behind his restraints.
"Hahaha," Mila's Laughter echoed down the grimy and dimly lit corridor. "Not in a million years," she taunted. Her footsteps quickened as she ran further into the darkness searching for Anna. Anna!!!! Mila yell but couldn't hear anything. the gunfire drowned out any hope of a response, leaving Mila braced with worry.
30 minutes earlier....
"Anna, wake up! Come on, open your eyes."
"Ouch my head hurts...." Anna opened her eyes slowly. "What happened?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"You got hit on the head with one of the flying bricks from the bomb that went off. We need....
"Chad!" Anna jumps up when she regains her sight fully and saw him, she embraces him with a tight hug.
"Whoa...okay...keep that hug for Phoenix," Chad chuckled. "But first we, we need to get out of here. Come on let's go."
BACK TO THE PRESENT...
"Anna!" Mila screamed once more, but there was still no answer. Mila sprinted down the corridor, her heart pounding in her chest. Finally, she came upon the first door she found and burst inside. Her eyes widened at the sight before her, an unconscious Alfonso was tied to a chair.
"Oh, shit Alfonso," Mila gasped, her voice filled with a mix of fear and relief. She hurriedly knelt in front of him, her hands trembling as she searches for a pulse. "Please be okay," she whispered, a wave of gratitude washing over her as she felt the steady rhythm against her fingertips. He was still alive.
Mila wasted no time. With determined focus, she swiftly untied the restraints that held Alfonso captive. "Alfonso, babe, wake up, please," she pleaded. But there was no response. "Shit, what am I going to do? you are too heavy for me to carry you...."
Her gaze darted around the room, searching for a solution. It landed on a few blankets nestled in the corner. Mila mustered every ounce of strength she had, wrap her arms around Alfonso's unconscious form, and laboriously dragged him towards the blankets. She carefully laid him down on one, tucking him in gently, ensuring he was hidden from view.
Mila took a moment to catch her breath, her mind racing and with determination she stood up and pushed to the second cell room. She burst through the door, but as she entered, she gagged at the foul stench that filled the air.
"Ugh, this place stinks," Anna muttered, covering her nose with er hand. Mila noticed the ropes lying on the ground next to the chair. "Anna must have been here," she thought, but where has she gone?"
As Mila turned around to look for her sister, she suddenly cried out and clutch her neck. She watches in horror as her vision began to blur. "Not again," she whispers as everything went black and her body collapsed onto the floor.
Chad swiftly carried Anna out from under the underground dungeon. They emerged into the dimly lit area where the waiting cars stood. "Stay here, Anna, I need to back and look for Mila and Alfonso." Chad said and he was about to turn around when Anna stopped him.
"Chad, wait...Where's Phoenix," she asked, her eyes darting anxiously searching for Phoenix.
Phoenix is fine, Anna. He's waiting for you back at the house," he reassured her.
"Oo okay, please be careful, Chad, Mila, would be pissed if something happens to you," Anna pleaded with worry.
Chad nodded, "I will," Chad vowed, and he turn around and walked back towards the dungeon.
As Chad made his way down the corridor, he approaches the cell where Alfonso was held captive, Chad's senses heightened. He surveyed the room, his sharp gaze scanning for any signs of danger. Just as he was about to leave, something caught the corner of his eye, he saw a little piece of the tip of a finger beneath the blankets.
Intrigued yet wary, Chad knelt beside the blankets, his fingers gingerly grasping the fabric. Tugging it aside, his eyes widened as saw Alfonso's unconscious form. "You better wake up Italian, I'm not going to carry you out of here." Chad utters, his voice laced with frustration and impatience.
"Oh, come on, it would have been so nice, and admit it you still want to touch me, Chad," Alfonso murmured in a sleepy voice, a mischievous grin playing on his lips.
Chad rolled his eyes. "In your dreams, Italian," he retorted. "Move your ass, we still need to find Mila."
Alfonso's drowsiness evaporated instantly. He jumps up, a piercing ache shooting through his head. "Aaahhhh...it hurts, what happened?" he groaned, cradling his head in both his hands.
Chad examined him. "Not sure, but it looks like they gave you a massive amount of drugs," he said, reaching into his pocket. He retrieved a small container handed Alfonso a few capsules. "Take all 3 of them now, it will help with the headache."
"Thank you, now let's go," he said, swiftly swallowing al three capsules in one fluid motion.
"Not so fast, both of you can stay right here," he barked, standing in the doorway of the cell holding a gun in each of his hands.
Alfonso's expression twisted with contempt as he seized up the guard. "Hahaha, you have no idea who you are dealing with, so I suggest you get out of our way and run of to whoever was dumb enough to kidnap the most dangerous people in this city," he spat.
"You don't scare me," The guard remained resolute, his grip on his weapons tightening. "I'm the one with the...." his words were cut short by a deafening boom, as Chad pulled the trigger, sending the guard crumpling to the ground.
Alfonso clicked his tongue, shaking his head in mild disappointment. "You're a real spoil sports, Chad. I was just starting to have fun, and you went ahead and shot the guard, "You're a real spoiled sports Chad I was just starting to have fun, and you went ahead and shot the guard," he chided, before striding out the room, leaving Chad behind.
Chad hesitated for a moment before following Alfonso out of the room. "Wait up man. We need to find Mila," he called out.
Alfonso and Chad moved swiftly, searching every corner of the place in their pursuit of Mila. Guards crossed their path, but with deadly efficiency, they eliminate each one that stood in their way. Frustration mounted within Alfonso as they failed to locate her. Finely their desperate search led them to a surprising discovery. Instead of Mila, they stumbled upon Alex, whom they knew to be a double-crosser.
"Well, well, well, you two-timing traitor," Alfonso sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "Time to speak up before Vincent catches up to you."
Alex scoffed, "You know nothing, Alfonso. Why are you working with the enemy? If Vincent finds that out, you are as good as dead."
Alfonso's eyes narrowed, suspicion mingling with his anger. "What are you talking about Alex? I'm not working with anybody, and where is Mila? Tell me now, or Vincent will find your body resting at the bottom of the ocean."
A cryptic smile played on Alex's lips as he responded. "Why don't you ask him? The hermit has finally emerged," Alex said, subtly nodding his head in Chad's direction.
