CHAPTER 2
Fredrick turned to Camille, his eyes blazing with anger. "I didn't think you'd turn out like this, why do you have to hurt Cassie? How dare you push her? Your sister!"
"Do you think that I pushed her?"
"Yes, I saw it with my own eyes. You're a ruthless woman, I was wrong about you after all these years!"
Camille stood there, unable to believe what she was hearing.
She turned to Cassie and her eyes flashed with malice and self-satisfaction.
A slow chill spread all over her heart.
"It was all Cassie. She planned this. She hates me and she wants to ruin our life," She cried, clutching his chest.
"Shut up, Camille! You're the one who ruined our life! Get OUT! You're not allowed to be here! WE ARE DIVORCED! Stay away from me and Cassie. I will harm you for what you've done if you stay another second in front of me." Yanking her hands off him he pushed her away mercilessly.
Camille took a deep breath, wiped her tears, and stood up straight, her eyes locked on Fredrick's. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small flash drive. "Fredrick, I know all about your secrets," She said, her voice steady. "And if you continue to pursue this divorce, I promise to reveal every single one of them."
Fredrick raised an eyebrow and looked at her with an enraging and disgusted expression. "What are you talking about, Camille?"
Camille smiled, slyly. "This flash drive contains all the evidence I need to expose your embezzlement, your lies and who you really are. And if you don't stop this divorce, I'll make sure the whole world sees it."
Fredrick's face twisted into a snarl, and he took a step closer to Camille.
"You're bluffing," he spat. " you wouldn't have the guts to do it."
Camille's eyes never left his face, her gaze steady and cold. "Try me", she said, her voice dripping with venom. "I dare you".
"Do you think I'll be the only one to go down if that happens? You better think about your actions and just sign the divorce papers." he said, his voice low and menacing as he moved closer and forcefully collected the drive from her.
Cassie suddenly bent her head, holding her forehead as she whimpered softly in pain, "Fredrick, I feel dizzy."
Camille watched as Fredrick held her, his eyes were filled with so much care. He never once looked at her that way. He never cared when she caught a cold. Even in his sleep, all he mentioned was Cassie.

The next day, Camille went back home still reeling from the previous night events.
She was about to enter the room when she froze as she heard a person's voice. Like someone was talking on the phone.
Camille walked closer and peeked through the half-opened door. Cassie was standing by the door, her right hand folded beneath her breast as she leaned against the wall.
"But Mum….."
"Once your father signs the documents, everything will be ours." Her mum said, cutting her off.
"What about Camille?"
"Do you care about her?" The woman scoffed loudly.
Camille covered her mouth and stepped away awkwardly.
"I don't care what happens to her."
Camille's heart raced as she processed Cassie's deep hatred for her. She pushed open the door and Cassie shrieked in fear turning back.
"Camille. What the hell?" Cassie yelped.
"What's going on, Cassie?" She asked, looking at her.
Cassie furiously snarled in her direction. "Nothing, now would you please leave?"
Camille stood her ground. "I won't leave until you tell me the truth. You're trying to take over dad's company aren't you?"
Cassie shrugged casually. "So what if I am?"
Camille's mind raced as she pieced everything together. "You and mum are working together, aren't you? That's why you created that drama earlier, to frame me and get Fredrick on your side."
Cassie laughed, her eyes gleaming with triumph. "We'll see who comes out on top, Camille. You or me."
"Why are you doing this? He's our father. Don't you care about him? He is sick, he needs us by his side. And you are here after his company, his wealth?" She asked, feeling the anger build inside of her.
"I hate him. Because of him, I have nothing. If you weren't born everything would have belonged to me. He was always picky, he chose you over me. And now it's my turn to take what's mine."
"You know that's not true, Cassie. Dad loved us both."
"Will you please leave now?" Cassie asked boredly.
"I will tell Fredrick everything."
Cassie's eyes widened but then she burst into laughing. "You're so naïve Camille. You always have been."
Suddenly, she stopped laughing looked over her shoulder, and started crying. Camille looked at her in confusion.
"P-please leave me alone, Camille. I already told you, I will not ruin your marriage. Why don't you believe me?"
"What? Is she going crazy? Is she bipolar?"
"What are you talking about?" Camille crossed her arms.
But she sobbed harder. "Why do you hate me so much?!" She rubbed her cheeks. "You didn't have to slap me."
Camille stared at her with disgust. "She's back at it again."
