Harley still hadn't called me yet, and neither had she come home. I'd been trying to reach her, but she wasn't answering.
A soft breath fled my nose and I stepped out of the elevator only to come face to face with my brother, Avi.
"Sylus?" He blinked at me. "You okay? You look like someone just died."
I shook my head at him and stepped out of the elevator. "No one died. And I'm fine. It's just that I'm worried."
"About?" He held onto his briefcase, following after me as I made my way toward the glass door.
"It's Harley."
"What about her?"
"She went to the hospital today because she was feeling sick, I think," I said. "But she hasn't called me or anything at all. I've tried her number a few times, she wouldn't pick up."
"You're mad about that?" Avi asked.
