Chapter 3 - 3) You Traitors!!!

"Ok ... that's just about it."

The 'sky' was bright as the waters hit the shore.

There was a lone young lady of around 18 years of age. She was a fair-skinned young woman with brown-gray eyes and light brown hair. Her hair reaches to her lower back as she had it in a loosely low-tied ponytail. The top of her hair was styled in a messy slick-back style, revealing a great deal of her forehead, that started at the crown of her head with a small portion of bangs framing her face.

She wore a flowing, elegant white dress robe with a pinkish hue and intricate details. Which is often featured with a layered robe skirt, a high collar, and a decorative obi sash. Her feet was adore with fancy expensive looking slippers.

Contrary to her gentle and beautiful expression on her face. She childishly puffed out her chest in pride as she does one final overview of her supplies. She points at each item on her mental check list.

"Water ..... check, Some spare clothes ..... check, Raft ..... check"

She gave a prideful smirk with a glint in her eye, oblivious to the the state of the sad excuse of a raft she made, as she begins to pack the raft with her stuff.

"Mmm ... Mmmm ... Mmmm ..... Hmmm?"

As she hums a happy tune while she was packing, something caught the corner of her eye. Off in the distance of this 'beach', a figure just popped right out of the sky as this figure began to fall.

"Uwahh" she began flaying her arms around in a panic. "Oh my Spirits, Oh my Spirits ..... What do I do? What do I do?"

After a moment of panic as the girl shout and looked around for a help. Suddenly a determined look appeared on her face as she took a stance. With a sloppy and improvised movement she tried to bend her element, but due to a lack of skill or the distance of the figure, nothing much happened.

"Ughh" But she was determined as she kept trying and trying but to no avail. She failed to realize that she giving away her position.

"Princess? ... Princess?"

"Lady Yohun, where are you? You shouldn't be outside the palace let alone the outskirts of the village."

"Ryuu?, Kyin? ... Over here ... Hurry Hurry!"

"Princess, How many times does the Chief have to - ah?"

"Lady Yohun again ... we've been through - ah?"

Ryuu, a young man with long brown hair tied back into a tail with blue eyes. As he wore baggy black pants with a black, long-sleeve collared shirt, on top of this he wore a naval bluish haori over his shirt as a coat. At his waist he wore a single katana like blade. His face carried an lack of enthusiasm.

Kyin, a young woman with brown eyes and long, waist-length brown hair with bangs. She had two additional chest-length strands framing her face in a hime-style like haircut. She carried a mature and calm personality. Her face is worn by a stoic expression and it looked like she would rarely express any strong emotion. She wore a long dark blueish robe she seem to wear like some dress. She carried a long, wooden staff wrapped with naval blueish ribbons and some ornaments on the staff.

As Ryuu and Kyin was about to lecture the princess as they emerged from the bush walking into the 'beach' their eyes meet Yohun as she was waving her arms and began to point at the figure that was near moments from hitting the water of the 'sea'.

Just then Kyin sat on her staff with both legs in the side like some witch as she flew in the direction of the figure.

Ryuu, her partner, not to be outdone bolted into the sea as he was running on the water surface, one of his hands on his sword.

"Do you think you got it or should I?"

"Shhh ... I got it" Kyin pointed her staff as she brought some of the sea toward the figure as the water rose and caught his impact like a water droplet.

"I got him" Ryuu slowed down as he stop by the figure floating in the water, which he now notice to be a young man. His legs still planted on the sea as he picked him up and brought him over his shoulder.

"Nice catch Yin"

Kyin just gave a nod as she flew to the side of Ryuu, looking at the young man, checking on his condition.

They arrived back on the shore in which they were greeted by Yohun with her arms in a prayer as she wore a worried expression.

"Is he ok? ... Is he alive?"

"He's alive, but he is pretty banged up" Ryuu looked at the sky in a bit of disbelief. How in the Spirits name did he survive the trip. He must have some pretty strong lungs I guess. Sigh ... thinking to much into it hurts my head. As he shakes his head to put a pin on that thought, he placed the unconscienced man on the ground as Kyin looked him over.

"Sooooo, what should we do with him"

"Well ignoring how he got here, either way he is a outsider, the rules say we should report him to the Chief"

"What we can't do that, he needs our help right now ... and when have you been such a stickler for the rules Ryuu ... don't think I never notice you would sneak out to goof off with Tatsu way back when"

"Well I'm a Pillar now, so I have to uphold our tribes custom's and enforce the rules now, Princess"

"Pfft ... oh please, don't use your standing now, I also know you and Gramps still sneak out of the tribe to go and fight Pirates"

"Hey ... Shhh Shhh ... Kyin doesn't know that and also don't bring Sensei into this, no one should know that"

As both Yohun and Ryuu were bickering with each other, Kyin continued checking the man over as she took notice of the knife on the young man lower back. She notice that something is off about his knife wound. She lightly tugs and plays with it as she notice that it was somehow burnt into place to stop the bleeding.

"Hmmmmm ... I think we should take him to Gramps, I think he will know what to do about him."

Yohun and Ryuu stopped their back and forth as Kyin made them take notice of the man wound on the side of his back.

"Oh my Spirits, is he ok?"

"He seems fine ... I think, Ryuu lift him up, we are taking him to Gramps. Maybe he knows a way to get this out of him."

Ryuu lifted the young man and carried him on his back as Kyin was behind him, doing what she can tending to his wound, keeping it frozen as she walked behind Ryuu, the young man sandwich between them.

"Yes lets, hmmm .... ah"

As Yohun rose to her feet, a relieve expression on her face, she realized she couldn't move as she noticed that her legs were frozen in place.

"Sorry Lady Yohun, the guards should arrive soon to pick you up"

"Wat What Ahhh" Yohun waved her arms frantically. "You can't just leave me like this, I uhhh have to know if he makes it"

"Sorry Princess, think of this as helping us out. You will be the guards distraction as we get our guest here to Sensei"

"Either me or Ryuu will let you know how he is when we can"

As Ryuu and Kyin left to their destination, Yohun was in a panic as she begins to hear in the distance the guards approaching the shore.

"Yo-You Traitors!!!"

The two responded to her accusation with blank expressions on both on their faces as they think in unison while giving a glance at each other.

Says the princess who was trying to abandon her tribe.

But Lady Yohun, weren't you trying to escape in the first place.
