Chapter 50 - Chapter 50: Did I Misunderstand?

When Tōshirō saw Elder Itachi suddenly coughing severely, he approached with good intentions to ask if he was okay, considering his old age. However, what he didn't expect was for the elder to snap back to consciousness and start scolding him, saying: "This is nonsense!"

At that moment, Uchiha Madara was incredibly upset, and the consequences would be dire.

What kind of nonsense is this?!

How dare he suggest that if Uchiha Madara were a woman, things would have been better!

If Tōshirō weren't somewhat useful, Madara would have unleashed his true power and taught this ignorant boy, who doesn't understand the weight of his words, a lesson he wouldn't forget.

But beyond that...

If we're talking about gender: why would he have to be the woman and not Hashirama?!

In the usual dynamic, who was stronger between the two? Uchiha was always the dominant one in their relationship.

Tōshirō felt embarrassed after being suddenly rebuked, his face reddening, but he persisted, saying: "Why do you consider it nonsense? What I said has valid reasons, believe me."

He thought about it and found Elder Itachi's reaction strange. He wasn't directly talking about him, so why was he so worked up?

But he understood that Uchiha Madara was previously the clan's leader, and turning him into a woman, especially in front of Itachi, who had once revered him, had naturally angered the elder.

Itachi sighed coldly, giving him a sharp look, wondering what this boy would say next.

And if he wasn't satisfied with what he said…

Hehe...

He would increase his training intensity to a level he couldn't endure.

Tōshirō cleared his throat and fixed his tone, saying: "Listen carefully..."

Meanwhile, both Kira and Fugaku exchanged glances, eager to see what Tōshirō would say next, especially since he often said things that were out of the ordinary.

Tōshirō raised a finger and assumed a philosophical stance, saying: "As I understand it, Uchiha Madara and the First Hokage, Hashirama, were both rivals and friends at the same time, weren't they? Otherwise, they wouldn't have ended up collaborating to establish the Village of Konoha."

Itachi nodded dryly: "Yes, and so?"

Tōshirō shrugged and said: "If Uchiha Madara were a woman, wouldn't it make sense?"

Itachi frowned, unsatisfied: "Where's the sense in that?"

Tōshirō looked at Itachi's wrinkled face with a grin and laughed, saying: "It seems Elder Itachi has never read young adult romance novels before."

In the background, Madara: "???"

Tōshirō continued, making hand gestures as he spoke: "You know? In stories like that, where two people start as enemies and eventually fall in love, it's a common trope in romance. Don't you think we can apply this same trope to the relationship between Hashirama and Madara?"

He continued: "If Madara were a woman, it would make perfect sense! Two rivals collaborating to build the village is kind of like reaching a happy ending in a love story. And if Madara were a woman, there might not have been a need for Uzumaki Mito to marry into the picture."

In the background, Madara's mouth twitched.

"What kind of nonsense is this?!"

Tōshirō kept talking, ignoring Itachi's command to stop: "If they married and had children, they would have strong bonds. At that point, maybe Madara wouldn't have left the village suddenly, nor would he have waged war on Hashirama upon his return."

Madara yelled from the background: "Stop!"

Madara was already upset by the abundance of these strange ideas.

Then Tōshirō, engrossed in his own story, added: "What eventually led to one dying and the other getting injured. After that battle, Hashirama died early due to his injuries, and without the threat of him as the God of Shinobi, the other nations began fighting over the fertile Land of Fire, leading to wars."

Tōshirō continued with a deep sigh: "I believe that if Uchiha Madara were a woman, none of this chaos would have happened. And if they united with Senju Hashirama, the opposing forces would merge, leading to the attainment of universal power, and the world would finally experience true peace."

After hearing Tōshirō's logical analysis, Kira felt his foundational beliefs shaken, completely shocked. Although the last sentence seemed somewhat reasonable, he couldn't make sense of everything that came before.

But... logically, his analysis was strangely coherent, making it unbelievable. He truly didn't know what went through this young man's head all the time.

Kira, with a dumbfounded expression, said: "I really want to grab a knife and open your head to see what's inside. How can you come up with such bizarre ideas?"

"I think if Uchiha Madara knew what you were saying, he'd be so furious he'd explode from his grave!"

Then he looked to the side and asked: "Elder Itachi, isn't that right?"

After saying this, Kira expected Elder Itachi to agree with him, but to his surprise, Itachi was bowing his head, deeply contemplating. This was intriguing.

"Elder Itachi, what's wrong?"

Kira was confused, could Itachi really think that the boy's nonsense made sense?

Elder Itachi slowly raised his head and looked deeply into Tōshirō's eyes: "Repeat your last sentence."

"If Uchiha Madara were a woman?"

Elder Itachi: "..."

"I mean the sentence you said after that."

Tōshirō understood and said: "If two opposing forces interact, they achieve universal power."

"That sentence sounds eloquent; it doesn't seem like something a boy your age would come up with."

Itachi maintained his calm exterior, but internally, Madara was in a state of shock.

With Tōshirō's level of visual prowess, he couldn't have read the inscription on the Nanaka Shrine's tombstone. So how could he have deduced this on his own? How could Madara not be amazed?

Tōshirō laughed and said: "Do you mean this? It sounds cool, doesn't it?"

Elder Itachi paused: "Cool?"

Tōshirō chuckled, saying: "Yeah, don't you think that saying something like this from time to time makes me sound educated?"

Itachi: ...

Perhaps he had overthought things.

Itachi looked deeply at Tōshirō: "If that's the case, can you explain it?"

Tōshirō took a moment to organize his thoughts before answering: "Actually, there's not much to explain. The Senju Clan is known for its physical energy, while our Uchiha Clan is famous for the power of its eyes."

"One represents darkness, the other light. Although they are opposing forces, they complement each other. That's why I said that if Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama got married, they would achieve universal power."

"After all, each of the clans already possesses great strength, so how powerful would their future generations, who carry both powers, be?"

"And with the union of both clans through marriage, their members would start to let go of their prejudices and interact with one another."

"And perhaps, one day, the two clans would unite to form a new family, and by that time, that family would be so powerful that no other clan could rival it."

"Under the absolute control of such strength, wars would no longer occur, and true peace would be achieved in the world."

After Tōshirō completed his logical analysis, Madara, who had been hiding, lowered his head slightly, falling silent.

According to what Tōshirō said, uniting the two clans' offspring seemed more reasonable and less complicated than implanting Hashirama's cells.

For a brief moment, Madara began to doubt himself.

"Opposing forces interacting to achieve universal power."

Could I have misunderstood everything?
