"Huh…Where's" Alfred?"
Matthew had returned from his place of work and was expecting to be greeted by his butler;Alfred.
Alfred was a lean white-bearded man who had seen a lot in his long life.He was the most trusted of all of Matthew's butlers.
"First my gate was wide open,my security guard wasn't present and now Alfred didn't come to welcome me."
Matthew begins to honk his Car to inform people that he's home.He was hoping for one of his employees to come rushing to him so that he can inquire about his gate being left wide open.
"ALFRED! BENNY! CLAIRE! ANYONE!"
Matthew screamed names out loud but it was too no avail.
"Am I being ignored?"Matthew asks himself.
Matthew after trying once more to signal someone realized that his home was quiet.There was no single ounce of noise in his house.
"There are way too many people in the building for it to be this quiet."
Matthew begins to ponder on the silence of his home and gets worried that something happened.He begins to rush into his mansion hoping that everyone was okay.
"Please tell me I'm overreacting,Everyone has to be okay!"
Matthew opened the front door and saw a destroyed version of his living room.Every single room in his house was exactly the same as that.
There were torn curtains,shattered glasses,broken chandeliers and the couch's were ripped apart and gushing out their foam.
"Who the fuck did this?"Matthew tremored under his breath.
It was at around 11am and hence the place was dark.Matthew attempted to put on the lights but it was like the electricity had been caught off.
Due to this,Matthew had to use his phone's torchlight to navigate through his home.
He crept around cautiously,whoever did this could still be around.He opened the door to what he remembered was one of his kitchens.
He saw that the tap in the kitchen sink was still running.He pointed his light to many locations to better understand where he was.
He continued investigating round the kitchen until he accidentally stepped on something squishy.
"Shit that's disgusting!"he said as he took a step backward.
He pointed his source of light downwards to see what he had stepped in and was horrified.
"Ewww!"he yelled before making a motion to cover his mouth as he knew that the intruder could still be around.
The reason for his scream was that he saw a girl he knew.She was actually one of Matthew's Chefs and she was dead.
The state of her body didn't dignify her in any way.She had multiple stabs in her body,each stab seemed to have inflicted a deep wound on her intestine.She was probably dead after the first stab but the killer was not satisfied and proceeded to continuously stab her for the fun of it.
She was also not wearing anything to cover her lower area and blood seemed to have dropped from her vagina.
This led Matthew to believe that she was a virgin and got raped.
"Well atleast now I know that the intruder was masculine."he sarcastically told himself to ease his fears.
Matthew noticed that one of the many wounds on the lady was much larger than the others.
"I think I could fit my whole leg into that wound…Oh no"
Matthew uncontrollably began to scream as he realized that he put his leg within a dead woman's abdomen.
After a few minutes of screaming,he realized that his sister was present at his house,meaning she could also have been killed.
"MATTHEA!"Matthew screamed uncontrollably as he began to look for his sister.
He rushed into numerous rooms and saw many other of his dead employees.He searched the rooms that Matthea and Regina were supposed to stay but wasn't able to find them.
A part of Matthew was glad that he wasn't able to find them as he knew that if he did,it'd probably be their dead bodies.
He continued his search,not giving up until he searched each and every room.He had time as his phone was currently fifty seven percent charged.
He could tell that the intruder was sadistic as all the dead bodies were brutally murdered and had many wounds inflicted on them.
He could also tell that the intruder had good stamina as every female body he had found had been raped.

Regina.
She sat on a yellow chair in one of the many bedrooms.
"Regina!"he screamed in joy
He rushed to her in so much excitement but was disappointed to see that her body was lifeless.She was barely even sitting straight.
Matthew touched her and felt that her body was cold and lifeless.
The chair she sat on was wet but not by water,the chair was wetted with blood.
"Shit!"Matthew cursed as he spat on the floor in disgust.He had seen enough dead bodies in one day.
Matthew realised that like the other ladies,she was also raped.
Matthew became sober,he knew that if Regina was killed that there was no way that Matthew survived.
He began to wail but was interrupted by a feminine voice screaming his name.
"Matthew,Is that you?"
Matthew turned around promptly and was surprised to see his sister;Matthea.
"Matthea!"Matthew said as he ran towards her.
Matthea was dizzy and bleeding profusely,she was in such a terrible state that she was unable to stand and this fell to floor but Matthew reacted fast and caught her before she hit the ground.
Matthew carried her and placed her in the king sized bed that was in the room.
"Matthea are you alright?"
"Yes now that you're here"she says in a very weak voice.
"Great!stay strong I need to take you to the hospital."
"No Matthew,we both know it's too late for me."
"No it ain't!"
"Yes it is."
"But-."
"Listen Matthew"—coughs—"I need you to answer me something."
"What is it?"
"Do you remember a week ago when Mom accused you of being a cultist?"
"Yeah,What about it?"
"Are you?"
"Ofcourse I'm not."
"Answer me truthfully Matthew"—coughs heavily—"Please"
Matthew begins to bite his lips, contemplating on his next move before he finally decides to speak the truth.
"Yes—Yes I am"
"Oh" says Matthea with a hint of disappointment which was picked up by Matthew.
"Are you ashamed or maybe even a bit angry?"
"No it's just…Never mind"
"Come on don't be silent,tell me."
"Forget about it."
"Okay if that's what you want—Rest ok I'm gonna call the hospital to take care of you."
"You can't save me Matthew."
"WELL ATLEAST LET ME TRY!"he screams with pain in his eyes.
"Fine,try if you want but promise me this;if I die you will keep on living for me.I had a lot of desires in life and I know that my existence made it hard for you to achieve your own desires,it's one of the reasons I left you for Mom."
"What are you saying?"
"I mean I know I was a huge burden for you,it was why I left.Now that I'm permanently gone,I want you to live your life to the fullest.Do it for me—please."
"Okay I will,but you aren't gonna die.I'm gonna go call the hospital now."he says as he took a few steps away from the bed to call the hospital.
He was explaining that his sister was barely breathing but as he ended the call and went to his sister,he noticed that she had died.

"So that's it.I am afraid,My sister told me to live for her and so I am afraid of disappointing her again.The truth is I do wanna live."Matthew said inwardly.
"Then I think you know what to do.Accept this mission."said Lina while clutching his arms,trying to reinvigorate his confidence.
"You're right I will accept this mission,I can't live life to the fullest if I'm stuck behind bars—But what about you?"
"What about me?"
"Don't you want freedom too."
"Ofcourse I do but I can't get it."
"Yes you can."
Matthew went to the warden and told him that he'd only accept the mission of Lina could come along.
He wasn't expecting the Warden to be all too willing to agree and so was shocked by the Warden's reply.
"You're a genius…"
"I'm sorry?"
"Why didn't I think of that!—Instesd of two criminals I could send multiple."
"So you're gonna let Lina come?"
"More than that,I'm gonna send eight of the strongest convicts in Blackwood all the way to the facility."
"Isn't that overkill?"
"You've seen the beast Matthew haven't you?This is the best road to take."
"Whatever,I don't really care who comes along,I just wanna regain my freedom."
"I find that hard to believe considering you came here demanding to let Lina partake."
"That's only cuz she helped me remember a promise I made a long time ago.I am not gonna take it easy on her if she gets in my way."
"That's the spirits."—claps and takes a sip of tea from a mug on his desk—"Just remember that you will all be accompanied by your supervising officer and only the person who kills the beast shall gain freedom."
"Yeah sure whatever."
"Great!I guess I'll have to fill in the new recruits on the mission."
"That seems fair I guess."
