There is no one in this world ,who doesn't desire freedom,even does who claim to have given up on life,would still prefer to die on their own terms.
Matthew is unemotional and doesn't seem to have anything connecting him to the world anymore.
He is an orphan,the only family he ever had were from foster homes,and they all too died.
Though Matthew doesn't have any reason to live,he still wants to stay alive,and of all he wants to be free.

Matthew began his walk towards to the warden's office.He was accompanied directly by five officers.
Each hallway had two officers at the end and beginning of it,with some having more.
Every officer was armed to the teeth,this was most certainly not a normal prison.
Though Matthew thought the security was a little bit overkill,he knew that the prison harbored intensely evil criminals who are supposed to be dead,so maybe it wasn't.
Some of the criminals here were serial killers known to be able to snap someone's neck in one motion,using their bare hands.
Matthew continued his long trip until he made it to the door towards the warden's office.
Matthew found it funny that the warden's door was the least secured of all the doors in the Prison.Though it had teo officers guarded it,it was at the end of the day just a regular wooden door.
Other doors to important figures were made of metal and required a key to open them,plus were additionally locked with atleast two padlocks.
"What's he doing here?"asked one of the officers guarding the door to the warden.
One of the officers accompanying me seemed confused,but eventually decided to answer the question.
"Didn't the warden tell y'all?,he asked to meet with him."
"Really,this is the first time I'm hearing of this."
"Eh,he probably just forgot to relay it to y'all"
"Maybe."
The officer didn't seem too convinced but finally decide that it was his fellow officer speaking,what would he gain from lying?
The officer eventually stood out of the way of Matthew and allowed him to go into the warden's office.
Matthew was honestly relieved that the officer stepped back,he was actually intimidated by him.
The officer was a large man standing at around 6'10 in height,and was a giant compared to Matthew who was only 5'11.
Matthew was about to turn the door knob when he heard a voracious scream.
"Stop!"
The dream was so unexpected that Matthew jolted a bit.
"Before you go in,you'll need to wear handcuffs,it's a security measure."
Matthew understood what the gigantic guard was saying,no sane person would want an assassin to go into their bosses office freely.
The guard latched on handcuffs onto Matthew before opening the door to the warden's office.
The warden's office was quite modern ,there was a large wooden desk were the warden sat.
The desk had chairs at its opposite ends,and on the desk was laptop and a few books.
Behind where the warden sat there where the warden sat there was a large window;through which you could see fishes swimming past emphasising how deep underwater there were.
Matthew could notice that there was an external dome covering the entirety of the prison.
The dome was see through and looked like but was way more reinforced than glass was,it was so durable that it could survive numerous sharks hitting it.(though it wasn't necessary as there are people who take shifts circling the prisoner with harpoons to stop any intrusion of anyform.)
The fishes were actually outside the dome ,but due to it being see through,they could be spotted by Matthew.
The warden did not look like someone who you would think oversees a maximum security prison.
He was extremely lean with blonde hair,was relatively tall(standing at around 6'10 in height), had blue eyes and wore an extremely casual outfit.
"Yo,Matthew how are you enjoying life in my prison?"
"Well I'm not sure one can enjoy being locked up in a cell for half the day,but I guess I could have it worst."
"Haha you always amuse me Matthew."
The warden had s very bumbling nature,he was always happy and overjoyed with everything.
It made Matthew wonder how he became a warden,he thought wardens are to be extremely strict in nature but he had never been in prison before so he wasn't too sure.
It didn't really matter though,Matthew had met the warden on numerous occasions and understood the warden enough by now.
He was perplexed at the warden's behavior for the first few times they had met,but he wasn't any more,there is nothing that the warden can do to shock him anymore.
"Alright officers I want you to untie Matthew and leave me and him alone in the room."
"Okay maybe I was wrong about that." Matthew said inwardly.
Matthew wasn't the only one shocked by this statement though,the officers also expressed their worries.
"What!,he is the most dangerous assassin that has ever existed,he is arguably our most dangerous inmate,and you want us to leave you alone with him,and with his handcuffs off."
"Yes,did I accidentally say something else?"
Though the guard(the one standing at 6'10) was screaming at the top of his lungs expressing his worries,the warden was acting suspiciously calm like as if he didn't just say anything that would endanger his life.
All the officers present began to attempt to tell the warden to rethink his request but the warden got irritated and screamed at the guards to do what he had asked of them.
Just like that,Matthew was unbounded from the cuffs and the officers left the room.
The exit of the officers filled the room with an uncomfortable silence.
The two men continued looking at each other eyeball to eyeball before the warden finally decided to speak up.
"I'm guessing this is the first time you've been here in Blackwood without having guards watching you,right?"
"It is,but if I may ask,why'd you do that?"
"Why did I tell them to go simply put,I can't have them hear what I'm about to tell you,it's confidential,and I told them to release the handcuffs so you'll be at ease."
"Why do you need me at ease."
"Getting straight to the point are we?,well I need you to be at ease,so that you can slowly reason out what I'm about to tell you."
"I'm guessing you wanna send me on another mission."
The warden nods in agreement.
"Well if you just want to tell me the details of this mission then why send the officers away,you usually gimme the details while they're present."
"That's because we trusted them not to reveal the topic of the mission and we were ready for the any backlash that may result from them not being able to keep it a secret,but in this case…We are not prepared in the slightest,it is that confidential."
"What is it."
The warden open the computer on his desk and played a video on it.
The video was footage of the scenes of the creature who decimated the scientists and their facility.
The creature had a humanoid figure and even looked human but it most definitely did not act like one.
The creature moved at incomprehensible speed,and even appeared to have dangerously sharp claws.
The face of the creature could not be seen due to how it's body was positioned,and how fast he moved.
Though the facial features of creature could not be determined,from the footage one could see that it was immensely muscular and gigantic.
In the footage,the creature was seen eating the corpses of the scientists.
It had razor sharp fangs like that of a shark,thanks to them he was able to pierce through the skin of the corpses and eat their flesh.
Matthew was horrified by the sight but never once did he look away.
The warden on the other hand though he couldn't see the footage as the laptop was facing Matthew,he could still hear the sounds and that alone disgusted him.
Due to the fact that the warden had already seen the footage,hearing the sounds made him visualize the scenes and made him want to vomit,for this reason he was shocked that Matthew did not show any signs of being appalled.
At the end of the footage,the creature jumped towards the camera and broke it.
It travelled so fast that he still could not be seen even though experts had slowed down the footage.
Now the video had ended,the warden was able to regain his composure and continue his meeting with Matthew.
"What is that thing?" Asked Matthew
"That's what we want you to find out,for your next mission you'll go over to that area and kill the creature."
"You want me to kill that thing."
"Yes,it shouldn't be too much for you to handle is it."
Though Matthew hid it well he wasn't all to confident that he could slay that beast.
He decided that he was gonna reject the offer,he realised that even if they decided to kill him,he'd probably die if he chose to fight that creature anyway.
Matthew was about to reject the mission,when he realised that rather than completely refuse,what if he tried his luck.
"I'll kill that thing for you guys…. If you grant me my freedom."
