With her youngest daughter in hand, Briar held her hand and turned to look at Chloe and said smilingly to her, "Let's talk on the phone later when you are free. I still need to pick the other kids."
Chloe nodded understandingly at her and promised to call later.
After dealing with Chloe and biding farewell to her and Kelly, Briar and Tiana left for the car.
While Chloe and Kelly walked to Chloe's car and on their way, Kelly asked her mother curiously, "Mother, are you two friends now?" eager to know about this matter.
Kelly smiled at her daughter, whom she felt very apologetic towards, and sighed wryly, "I am not sure, but probably if things work out, we might be!" unsure of the future as well.
After all, who knows if she would continue to talk to her after hearing what she had to say about that question she didn't get to answer earlier?
It was stressful just thinking about it.
