Time ticked by and it was a few days since Briar's discharge from the hospital.
These few days were quite harmonious. She didn't have to wake up early in the morning to deal with the kids or Logan.
She just slept and woke up when her body felt like it. The only problem was taking medicine. Her traditional medicine was much better compared to these pills. However, one needed to follow the doctor's orders.
So, she vowed that once the pills were taken, and the ordeal was done, she was going to start brewing her medicine and fortify her body.
However, for now, she needed to abide by the rules.
With days swiftly passing, it also meant that the time was drawing near for that shock therapy Briar was set to do, though she was supposed to act like she didn't know.
