couldn't take his eyes off the screen.
"Stop searching."
The words were simple, but they carried a heavy sense of threat.
Who sent it? How did they know he was searching the app? And most importantly… what would happen if he ignored the warning?
He felt a chill run down his spine, but he wasn't ready to back down yet.
If someone was watching him, it could only mean one thing…
The app wasn't just a coincidence. It was bigger than he had imagined.
He took a deep breath and closed the message, then opened the Millionaire Code app again. If there was something being hidden from him, he needed to know more before he lost the chance.
But before he could do anything, a new notification appeared:
"Invitation to a private meeting – attendance is mandatory."
He froze in place.
The message wasn't from the regular messaging app; it appeared inside the Millionaire Code app itself.
He cautiously clicked on it, and a new window appeared:
"Congratulations, you've proven that you're a player worth paying attention to. We have an offer for you, but it requires a face-to-face meeting. The location will be sent shortly. Don't be late."
His eyes widened.
A face-to-face meeting? With whom? And why?
He wasn't sure whether this was a trap or an opportunity, but he wasn't in a position to back out.
Moments later, the meeting location appeared on the map. It was an address in Manhattan, in a skyscraper he'd never heard of before.
He felt his body pulse with both excitement and fear at the same time.
If he went, he might get answers. And if he didn't… he might lose everything.
He had only one choice.
He quickly got up, put on his clothes, and left the room. Night had fallen, and the cold air slapped his face as he walked toward the address.
But deep down, he knew…
This meeting would change everything.
---
Alex arrived at the designated address about thirty minutes after walking through the neon-lit streets of Manhattan. The skyscraper he stood in front of wasn't familiar to him, even though he had lived in New York all his life. The building looked strangely modern, its glass façade reflecting the city lights in a way that made it impossible to see inside.
He hesitated for a moment.
Should he go in?
But the truth was, he had no other choice.
He quietly pushed the glass door, and was greeted by a lavish lobby, but it was completely empty. No employees, no visitors, just the faint sound of classical music emanating from an unseen source.
He slowly walked toward the only elevator in the place, and as he got close, the door opened automatically as if the place knew he was coming.
A chill ran down his spine, but he entered the elevator anyway.
There were no buttons inside, just a digital screen displaying one word:
"Ascend."
Once the door closed, the elevator moved silently and quickly, adding to Alex's growing tension.
After a few moments, the elevator stopped, and the door opened to reveal a spacious room with windows stretching from floor to ceiling, overlooking the glittering New York skyline.
In the middle of the room was a glass desk, behind which sat a middle-aged man, dressed in a sharp black suit, his face devoid of any clear expressions.
The man slowly lifted his gaze, and his cold eyes met Alex's.
Alex felt his heart race as he slowly walked into the room. The man behind the desk looked incredibly calm, his empty eyes fixed on him.
Alex sat in the chair across from him without waiting for permission. His mind raced, trying to analyze the situation, but he couldn't find any logical explanation for what was happening.
The man spoke in a calm voice, yet with an underlying power.
"You're here because you opened the door. Only a few have the courage to discover the truth."
Alex frowned. "What door? Are you talking about the app?"
The man smiled a barely noticeable smile.
"The Millionaire Code isn't just an app. It's a system. A tool for those who know how to use it."
Alex felt things getting stranger. "And who are you? And why am I here?"
The man placed his hands on the table and looked directly at him.
"We are simply… the true investors of this world. And you're here because you've proven you're different."
He paused for a second, then added:
"And also, because we know where you truly come from."
Alex froze in place.
He felt as though the room had suddenly become cold.
"What… what did you say?"
The man didn't change his expression. "You're not from this world, are you?"
Alex couldn't respond. He felt like the words had lodged in his throat.
How did they know?
As if the man had read his thoughts, he added in a low voice:
"Alex, the world you think you came from… is not what you think."
Alex felt the ground beneath him tremble. He was no longer sure what was real and what was just a nightmare.
"What do you mean?" he whispered, his voice trembling.
The man smiled for the first time. A cold smile, as though inviting him into a new world of secrets.
"I mean… you have a choice now. Either you take what we offer and become something you never imagined before… or you leave this room and never remember anything."
He paused for a moment before asking:
"So, what is your decision?"
